Advice on new watch: Raymond Weil, Longines or something else?

I have a diamond longines, it is very classic. Black face and diamond edges. Very happy with it. I don't wear often anymore since I started wearing very large watches again, but I still enjoy owning it and I do recommend the brand.

Have you looked at the Michele Watches? There are some I like from their collection that might suit your budget. Also, there are some Omegas that could work, and perhaps even a movado? They have made great improvements on movados in style.

I'd check the Michele watches though. You could also get a more expensive watch pre-owned if you had time to look for just the right one online.

Good Luck, post pictures when you get your watch whatever it may be!

Yes I did think about Michele but they are not available where I live. Have to buy online which I am not comfortable with. They look nice though!

are you comfortable with getting a pre-owned watch? many upgrade their watches and you can get some great deals that way on higher end watches.

I did shop around some shops selling pre owned watches but so far have not found anything I fancy yet.

I'm still drawn to RW, will probably go for one of their watches. Just deciding which model and whether to get all stainless or two tone.

Does anyone know if the gold plating will hold up well if worn daily? Also, if the plating eventually wears out will RW be able to re-plat?

I don't know where you are located, but you can purchase a Michele Watch online at a department store that has a generous return policy - see if you like it?

A watch is a very personal purchase, take the time to find yourself just the right one! xo
