Advice on best hardware for Gold Birkin

Hi all, which would you choose between Gold Birkin 30 with gold hardware and Gold Birkin 25 with palladium hardware?I have tan skin with dark eyes n hair..generally gold looks better bit in this case i feel ghw looks too flashy with Gold color.Would like to hear some opinions.
Is PHW a clash with a warm color like Gold ?

In my opinion both are lovely. I have a gold on gold Kelly, she's gorgeous and quite classic looking. For me the palladium is sportier, perfect if you're looking for a more casual style.

Agree, they both are beautiful. I feel that the palladium hardware gives it a more relaxed and cool vibe while the gold hardware looks a little more regal and classic.

If I was offered both and had to choose one, I'd go for gold with palladium hardware.

I have plenty of bags with gold hardware and personally I'd like silver or palladium hardware with warm leathers to tone the bag down a bit.
I was offered a black kelly touch with gold hardware earlier this month and it confirmed that I felt the gold was a little too much for me. A little too strong and heavy. (still a gorgeous bag of course! it was hard to say no haha)

I like palladium with Gold because, with the naturel stitching, the bag has a slightly sporty, classic vibe, and the palladium accents that. GHW looks good with gold too but as @lill_canele says it's a bit more regal/fancy.
You really can't lose but I would choose palladium. It's certainly not a clash.

I personally prefer gold with PHW. I owned and sold (deep regret) a k32 gold with PHW and it was so easy to style. Beautiful combo! And b25 imo is easier to grab and go vs a 30. But I love both sizes in my collection

Gold with gold is my personal preference....but then again I like GHW with everything
I just feel like I might get tired of gold w PHw...its still very nice don't get me wrong.

GHW is having a moment, but I prefer PHW. Even though I wear YG jewelry.
IMO it’s more modern to mix it up, and phw is more casual
plus, I rehomed a fauve barenia HAC 32 GHW years ago (second pic)
bc the GHW made me feel like a ralph Lauren ad

Good news — you can’t go wrong.

I would choose GHW. It is more classic to *me*.

The PHW looks really crisp with the color gold. I can appreciate why people would prefer this though.

My gold B35 has PHW and I agree with others that it is a sportier, cleaner look. It feels more modern to me. I have both GHW and PHW in my collection, but personally I find gold/GHW a bit richly toned.

I prefer my birkins to be in PHW because they are tote bags. My kelly, KP, and Constance are in GHW, as I see them as dressier bags. That's just me, though. I think any H bag in any hardware is stunning. Actually, I think it is interesting to see what catches the eye of the craftsperson who makes each bag. They may see undertones in leathers that go better with PHW and others that may reflect better with GHW.

Totally agree that there is something to the idea of letting the leather/colour choose its hardware.

Hermes’s Gold goes very well with either GHW or PHW. It’s such a classic and timeless tan. How about letting fate decides if you can’t make up your mind?
