I found a bag!!! Walked into macys to return the ecru Preston and spotted a bag I had never seen before. The bleecker edge paint hobo in white/blue oxford. It was love at first sight! They also had black and bright mandarin!

I am trying to decide on a light colored spring bag. I just purchased the silver/ecru Preston from Macy's with the 25/20 discount. However, my concern is I much prefer shoulder bags to satchels and despite the fact that I love the look of this bag, I am not sure that I would use it frequently. I love the look of the Madison hobo but there aren't any spring/summer colors with silver hardware currently. The Avery drawstring in silver/pearl on coach factory today looks pretty also but may be too small. I have also considered the ivory highrise but haven't seen it in person and worry it would be too small as I like the ability to carry a magazine or ipad or extra snacks for my son.

Any advice or pros/cons on these bags or any other suggestions would be much appreciated!

From your post, we are very similar in taste. I have have bought a couple satchels to have a bit of a variety, but they are not even close to being in rotation with the others.

The Madison hobo is so nice, but I haven't found a color I wanted.

I have been eyeballing the Avery drawstring in indigo  I shared it with my husband last night. Even though the measurement would have me believing it was plenty large, from the pics I can't imagine being able to even get my organizer inside. With the 30/20 it really does have me heavily considering....

There's an extra discount on the current Avery colors. Instead of 30/20, the Avery line is 40/30/20 right now. The Indigo drawstring is $120. The rose, orange, and a couple of other colors on clearance are right around $100.
