Agreed. Damier neverfull I wouldn't have bought. Looks very pretty but I had my straps replaced after the first cracking and they're starting to crack AGAIN and I barely wear the bag. It's now considered my "beater bag". And I'd hate to say that after spending $1,000 on it. Then, after not learning from that, I went out and bought a damier speedy B. And again I love the bag but the sides are wrinkling and I wore that bag MAYBE ten times. Will still continue to wear it but I feel I shouldn't be seeing these things on a $1300 bag. Live and learn I guess. After being a loyal LV buyer I'm disappointed with the price increases and decreases in quality.

It seems most of you are leaning toward the Gucci swing tote. As someone who always wanted a Neverfull, but instead bought Balenciaga last spring , then my first Gucci last summer( after seeing it at a Gucci boutique in the Rome airport) a Neverfull finally came into the family, but through my daughter. After hearing of the imminent price increase early spring, and the daughter happening to go to Atlanta for a meeting, it happened! As she is 24 and in her first adult job, carrying two phones and an ipad, it is perfect. Now as for me--I was smitten when I saw the Gucci swing tote on Purseblog. Not having a store handy, I wrestled with it, but ultimately bought it as my Mother's day gift--the taupe with pink. It is beautiful, but yes, a little large. However, it is so easy to reach in and pull something out. And fine leather for that price--what a deal. It is definately not a bag to carry on a plane, but I feel the Neverfull is not either. I would not wear it in a large city where someone can easily reach in. But for where I am in life, it is perfect!

I'm so glad all of helped me out. I actually chose the disco bag instead of the swing. I didn't need another large purse I decided. I got the blush color 200 dollars off. I figured I could get a snazzy card case to fit inside it with the money I saved. But I'm so thankful to all of you for steering me this direction!
