I had the exact same dilemma yesterday. I ended up with the Prince St. Satchel in the light gray, just because I've been liking hand held bags lately. Both bags are gorgeous. If I could have I would have bought both but I've been very bad lately so I left the studded beauty behind. Btw, the croc is gorgeous. I saw it yesterday too. Loved it.

If it were me I would keep the studded Edie, hands down. Good luck on your decision. Let us know what you decide.

I like Prince Street. But if I liked Edie, I would probably use it more. I'm not a fan of slouchy bags. Bleecker mini duffle is about as slouchy as I go. I do use it the most. :shrugs:

You could use prince street on the weekends - you would just look very classy. You might have to do hair & makeup if you go out on the weekends with prince street. It would look good with jeans though.

If you dress conservatively/polished, that's probably the better choice. Or if it's meant for a business dress office. The Edie is much more casual & edgy... for a jeans kind of gal. I vote for the Edie. The studs give it an edgier look, but I use mine for business as well. It depends on what kind of office environment you have, but because I travel a lot, I need a shoulder bag. Plus I've noticed that the Edie is a bit more structured than Phoebe. The Phoebe is slouchier; the Edie tends to hold its shape more.

I was in the same situation today...Torn between the Prince satchel in Grey and the Edie in Nude...Both are beautiful purses but I ended up with the Edie because it's more comfortable for me to carry...:smile1:

Both beautiful bags and both so different. Could you possibly keep both by making one an early Birthday or Anniversary gift? Mothers Day is around the corner. I get creative when I want something.....maybe buy one and charge one and pay it off slowly so it doesn't hurt so bad. I've had the same dilemma a few months ago and the buy one/charge one worked for me. I knew which ever one I returned I would obsess over. Good luck with your decision!

I think that they are both gorgeous, but the Edie is a great deal and there is still a chance that you might find the Prince St Satchel at the outlet later - but maybe not.


Ask yourself which of these bags you would feel most sad to lose and then keep that one. If you really want the Prince St Satchel but you are attracted to Edie primarily because of the price, then you should probably skip Edie and get the satchel.

The Prince Street Satchel arrived yesterday, and that's when I knew that I couldn't let this one go!! :cloud9: Edie was gorgeous, but she went back last night so she can find a loving home. Here's my new beauty:
