Another update: they cannot swap the strap of k28 with k25

Sorry there’s a strap issue. Only you can decide if a K28 will work.
Let me add that every time I think my K28 is a tad big for me, (big as in I don’t need the space) all I need to do is use it and I fall in love with it all over again. I feel anyone can rock a size 28 and as much as I love my minis, it’s refreshing to see myself carrying a larger bag. I just love the look.

Ok so not to throw a wrench in all this. SA just texted me saying just got a black box b25 gh if I want it. Omg, now I’m really confused between this or berenia k28.

My first instinct would be BOX BIRKIN, all day!
But regardless of size (or strap mishap), seems the Barenia odds have been in your favor, 2:1.
Just go with the K28 and listen to the "signs"

I personally Have a black box 28k retourne and a 30b black barenia , both phw (my preference) and I rarely wear the K.
Do you think you will wear a 25B and a 25K in the same leather, same hw?
My advice is look at both tomorrow and go with your first instincts, don’t overthink, you will know
i am medium build, 5’2”, and find the 28 a nice size esp if DH wants me to carry his gloves or sunglasses,
but it’s sometimes too bulky or heavy for me to take to dinner. 28 is a day bag for me.

Does your SA think a 25K barenia will pop up anytime soon ? The pendulum is swinging back to bigger bags, but the heart knows what it wants. Perhaps your SA has a recommendation since she knows your taste?

you don’t have barenia, so I still suggest that. Box is gorgeous but barenia is my fave and you already have black box.
Otherwise I’ll do a 180 and say you should just go for the original mini K. Lol! Seems like that would be the easiest decision for you.

B25 sellier GHW is still very different to K25 sellier PHW, and black box is forever (Box B25 is my HG, although I am hoping for PHW).
BUT since you already have a K28 sellier - does it work for you? If yes, I'd take the Barenia K28, since you don't have any Barenia.
If you don't want another K28 sellier....then decide if you want a B25 or a mini Kelly.
These are massive champagne problems by the way, all these bags are rare and amazing
You will know when you see it which one calls your name. Bring one of your others with you for comparison in person if you need.

This thread is so funny ~ it has a bit of everything going on, and shows how different we are. As someone with Black Box B, which I love, I’d take Barenia in a heartbeat. I wear my Barenia bags far more often. I think you have to wrestle with the question of if you prefer B or K here, especially since you already have box.

Thank you so much everyone for all your feedback!! I ended up getting the K28. She is a tad bigger than my preference but too beautiful to pass up so I took her home with me. Here are some pics. Thanks again All!
