The 16 mm does have a larger clasp and it's the same size as the clasp on the monogram strap above that Septamom posted a link to.
The 12 mm and 16 mm refers to the width of the strap itself.

From L to R:
-- 12 mm strap that came with Eva. The Alma BB strap is the same 12 mm width.
-- 16 mm epi noir strap. This is similar to what Lillis posted above at the beginning of this thread, just in epi instead of ebene.
-- 20 mm monogram strap, the same as Septamom referenced.

I don't have a Graceful but have Delightful PM and GM and the middle and last straps' clasps don't open wide enough to fit DL rings without forcing and possibly scratching.

Oh wow thank you SO much for the clear break down and side-by-side comparison! So then assuming the D rings are about the same thickness for Graceful and Delightful -- I'll order the 12 mm to avoid scratching hopefully. Weird though you would think larger clasp means larger opening. Thanks for your help!

Sorry if this was confusing but since the 12mm is smaller than the 16mm clasps, it for sure won't fit the rings

Oh got it. No problem I misunderstood.

That's too bad, may have to look around for another option. If anybody else had success finding a strap for Graceful PM size without scratching the rings, please share!

I'd use a Keepall strap, or one of the bandouliere straps, or the adjustable vachetta luggage strap item J00109. Again I don't have a Graceful but wish this as my next bag so have been following the threads. Those straps all fit on the Delightful without scratching and I hope they'll fit the Graceful the same way when I eventually get her.

the new bandouliere straps are great! i just used the reverse xl one with my palm springs mini in reverse for 4 days in nyc. it was literally the most comfy strap i have ever used. very soft. i liked it so much i just purchased the noir xl too. i like that the xl are adjustable. the only thing i don't like is the price, but i try not to think about it because it is so functional.

Hi i’m new to this thread. I have the Graceful MM in Pivione and also purchased the monogram strap but finding it difficult to attach it. Any suggestions? I don’t want to scrath the hardware on the bag.

Hi!

I just attached the strap. I guess your buckles are too thin/too small due to the thick ring. I think soon or later the buckles (even the bigger one) would scratch the ring. Pls try again. Otherwise you need another strap with wider/bigger buckles.
