Id agree with the poster who said better clarity stones at a smaller weight. You don't want so many big inclusions that cut quality can't even help the stones sparkle.

Just be aware that SI3 clarity really equals I1. GIA and AGS (which are the reputable labs) don't do SI3 clarity rating. so if it's rated SI3, it probably means that the diamonds are graded soft on color also and are not G/H color, but more like I/J or even J/K (if rated by GIA).

Which is might or might not be fine, so long as you are not overpaying for what you are getting. Many if not most tennis bracelets are made with I1 diamonds, J color. that is what I have myself and it looks sparkly and pretty and nice. My bracelet is much smaller though (not even 2 ctw) --with your .16 or .19 stones, the inclusions might be more visible. Or they might not. If I were you, I would not buy this without seeing it first, unless it's returnable, no questions asked, if you don't like it, for any reason. I would not buy anything SI3 clarity, unless it was returnable and I could see it before deciding to keep it, because the quality can vary so much and you can't be sure what you are getting. for the price you are probably paying, you want something nice.

This will be a beautiful 7 carat bracelet (and can be returned if you don't like it)

this bracelet comes in an 8 carat weight and it will be amazing.

I have never heard of anjolee but I will say this: Whiteflash has AMAZING stones. Their craftsmanship left a lot to be desired. I had a lot of issues with my platinum eternity and half eternity bands cracking due to poor casting. I don't know what metal you'd be using for a bracelet but if platinum, keep that in mind.

^^
Thanks actually for that Whiteflash review- I was thinking about them for a future tennis bracelet purchase. Honestly though I ordered whiteflash and costco earrings awhile back and the costco were bigger for the same price and sparkled just as much! Some people are really into the whiteflash cut but I didn't see the big deal, nor was it better than my jewelry from Tiffanys. Not that they weren't nice diamonds, they were, but they were definitely not better than the Costco/Tiffany diamonds!

But anyways, I probably wouldn't get a SI3, that's not really a rating, is it? More like I1 from what I've read.

Here is something nice at Costco.

Sure thing. My feelings on WF are actually the biggest part of why I don't post on PS anymore. I dared share those and it was like a witchhunt. I think they make lovely diamonds, but its not the end all be all. I think an ideal cut is an ideal cut, unless it's a specific custom cut. I have seen amazing diamonds at both Costco and Tiffanys and I have seen total duds at both also.

Yes, they will kill you on Pricescope for saying anything even remotely negative about Whiteflash and about three or four other vendors they have that they really promote (and then deny it). Even though I personally had a WONDERFUL experience with Whiteflash, and so would definitely recommend them, I got tired of going on Pricescope, which is supposed to be a neutral site and seeing people post diamonds that they wanted to buy and hearing again and again, why don't you get this other diamond instead from Whiteflash (or one of the other 'preferred' vendors).

They also have vendors that they 'have it in for' on Pricescope, like DiamondsbyLauren.com, so far as I can tell, simply because the owner doesn't fall into line and say that only superduperideals with wonderful paper are pretty diamonds, and also they are down on Tiffany's and can get quite nasty about BlueNile.com (where I also got a lovely diamond).

I'm sorry you had this lousy experience, Ame, and even more, I am sorry (and angry) that you got hounded off the site. I do think that it is a site where you can get useful information, though, if you keep the caveats above in mind, and I will be forever grateful to them for the information I got that helped me to get two lovely diamonds. My whiteflash earrings are beautifully made and I got stellar customer service there, which I want to put out there (not denying your experience, just saying mine was different). Which is why I recommended their bracelet, even though I have not seen it in person. I don't think that they are the only place I could have got beautiful earrings of course and it's annoying to see certain vendors that the site promotes (i'll name no names), making claims (not on Pricescope but on their websites) that all AGS000's are not as superb, and that THEY (for a price, of course) will make sure you get the absolutely best out of the super-ideals, etc. etc.

Sorry for the threadjack.

It's nuts there sometimes! I actually got BANNED because of it. I refused to APOLOGIZE PUBLICLY for it, and that was that. Apparently when you're the biggest advertiser, you get a little preference in that regard. I do find it totally ridiculous though how hardcore everyone is for so few vendors and how dare you consider anyone outside of them.

I think DBL rocks, they seriously know their stuff, esp with fancies, just like Jon at GOG is REALLY in the know, and has all the equipment and testing done on everything he sells. And while I don't love BG I think he knows his diamonds. Mark T, Etc. Etc. I think it's crazy how rabid the fans are. It also makes me wonder just how few people who have negative experiences dare post them, because being on the other side of that coin is not accepted well. It is supposed to be a neutral site, but it's clearly not. But the newer ownership is a lot better at policing stuff than the originals.

That's not to totally bash the site. The issue lies with many of the regular posters there, the so - called "experts" who are really not experts, but consumers. Or say..prosumer.

But that's enough for my threadjacking too!

I never heard of anjoli. I would check that they have a good return policy (definitely check the fine print) and that there's enough time to get the bracelet independently appraised, for that price.

Costco is another good option, from what I've heard. I haven't got anything from there personally but have heard from people who have that they are great. the stuff in the case looks great, certainly.

Best of luck, I hope you get a great bracelet and then post photos.

^^ Yes, I would not like to discourage anyone from going to Pricescope where you can get advice and information that you can get nowhere else. I jsut think people should be aware of the glitches. they ALL sound so sure of themselves there that as a newbie, I think it would be easy to get confused as to whose advice was good and who didn't actually know what they were talking about. It is also easy to miss the bias, which is definitely there, unless you are obsessive like me and read through literally thousands of the old posts.

I repeat, I am so sorry that they banned you, Ame. It is ridiculous to do that. If you had a problem, you had a problem and you have a right to put that information out there.

This is now REALLY the end of my threadjack.
