I am about to purchase a diamond tennis bracelet but cannot decide on a tcw. Here are my options..

1. round diamonds, 4-prong setting, G-H color/ SI-3/ 6.88 tcw; w/ link adjustment to 6.75" = 6.56 tcw, 41X0.160 ct.

2. 1. round diamonds, 4-prong setting, G-H color/ SI-3/ 7.60 tcw; w/ link adjustment to 6.75" = 7.41 tcw, 39X0.190 ct.

I want to wear almost everyday/all occasion. Not sure which size I'll like better because I have to order and cannot compare side by side. For reference I also wear daily, 2 ct e-ring w/ 2 ct eternity w. band, 2.5 tcw diamond studs, and 1 ct diamond pendant

(I'm leaning towards the 7.41 ct but don't want it to look too big, KWIM?)

hmmm, I'd go for the smaller one for everyday wear. Although I don't know how big your wrists are.
I have very thin wrists and wear about 5 crts everyday on my tennis bracelet. I pair it w/ a blinged watch and my 3.67 wedding ring plus 3+ crts diamond studs. It's perfect for everyday, if it were larger I'm not sure I'd wear it most days.

wrist are small (?) about 6.25 in

How old are you? Trust me, what you think is big now won't be when you are 50.

Don't see what wrist size has to do with it. Don't get it on finger size vs size of diamond either. These are in the eye of the beholder. What size are your birkins? If they are 35's they probably aren't in proportion to your body either. KWIM?

Difference between 6.88 & 7.6 is minimal, less than 1 ct.

I'd get the bigger one, its about the size of TCW of all the other diamonds you are wearing. Then you're at about 15 TCW. Something you can easily remember for future purchases when you are adding more. lol

And of course this logic wouldn't make sense to some people. KWIM But this is about you, not them.
Sorry if its hard to follow. Buy what you like & don't worry about proportions.

This isn't really answering your question but IMO I would consider going down a bit in ct. wt. and getting a better eye-clean clarity if possible. Maybe 5.5 twt/G-H color/SI2 clarity???

However, no matter what, go with what you like on your wrist......good luck.

I could get the 6.56 in FG color SI2 clarity-- are you really going to be able to see the difference that much?

The cut of the stone is what is important - not clarity or even color at those sizes.

I would go for the larger like VLL stated - shrinkage will happen over time.

Since there is no difference in their cut, color or clarity, you should consider is the setting style, weight & karat of gold & pricing. 19 point or 16 point diamonds also not much difference visually. as they are above 3mm below 4mm size. SI-3 grading also not officially recognised & hard to determine as it is a new grading between SI-2 & I-1.

I would prefer the 7.41tcw if the pricing, karat of gold is the same as 6.88tcw. If 7.41tcw is 10k gold, 6.88tcw is 14k or 18k, i would chose 6.88tcw. Be it whichever your choice, you must like the style of the tennis bracelet so you will wear it often. Take a picture show us when you buy it.;)

Larger. 20 years ago, I bought my first one and went smaller and within a few years regretted it and ended up going larger with the 2nd one and I've been happy with it ever since! I should've gone larger to begin with.
