This year has been heartbreaking for me. Lots of tragedy and pain. Too much pain.
Now I'm on my feet again, and look at the world differently, I'd like to treat myself to something.

I thought of getting the Palm Spring PM, but hate the puffy straps. The PS mini is cute but too small, and if I were to get it, I would love to use the strap from my mono Pochette Metis.

So what do you recommend? Something casual and functional, medium capacity.

I’m a big speedy B fan. I like that it can be worn three ways and it can hold a lot. And it’s still a classic shape.

Awe...I’m so sorry GrandeLatte<3
Something fun might be the Odeon pm or the new Boulogne.
I hope you find something you love:)

@Grande Latte, sorry this year has been so difficult! I vote Palm Springs mini if you are not too tired of mini bags and if it can fit your essentials. Or the dauphine. Do you like the puffy one with a silhouette like a YSL? I personally have always been fond of the alma, the long alma, and the petite alma

So sorry..... sending you positive vibes. I really hope you find a bag that brings you some much needed joy. Hugs...

Sorry to hear; but how wonderful to treat yourself after so much heartbreak. I'd recommend you scroll the LV site (if you can't get to a boutique in person) and just see what jumps out at you and makes your spirit sing! Let us know what you choose...

Thank you all for your kind replies. I still haven't really decided. There is really no hurry. I guess part of the process of retail therapy to refocus and feel normal again.

I have many crossbody bags, shoulder bags, and a few speedys, and luggage, but I really don't have a backpack or bucket bag. Ideally I'd like to be hands free because I realize I'm so busy taking care of everyone around me, that I need my hands to be free.
