I gather the chain strap is removable? (Just a personal quirk of mine - no offence to anyone -, but i have a chain strap phobia, that positively rules out Chanel for me... thank goodness, moneywise)

Their men's shoes are TDF, a bit underwhelmed by the women's line though - but anyway, shoemaking is a dead serious business in Italy, a cornerstone of patriotism. If your bag has been cobbled together by a venerable bolognese shoemaker, you can rest assured you got the real deal.

yes the lining is leather too! i just got into the vintage lately after purchasing a vintage chanel and noticed quality is really better for older bags. and testoni vintage bags are not so much a regular thing being traded online w/c makes me feel like i'm getting a really one-of-it's-kind bag

not my garden though these are seller pics strap does look like it's removable. i do hope it's in great condition so i can use the strap w/ my other bags too and hit 2 birds w/ one stone.
