Update to this post: I got fed up seeing this ugly C tag and messaged the seller with a detailed explanation of why it was fake. Someone got back to me within 24 hours thanking me (said the bag had been authenticated by a 3rd party service, which, uh, they may want to seek a refund there) and they voluntarily removed the listing.
I'm so used to the unhinged Poshmark-style meltdowns this was a nice change, gotta admit!

I’m pretty sure I just got a fake one as well. Has the same silver plate as this one . It’s a good fake though, nice leather and ykk zippers with correct dimensions and correct color for the season. (Chocolate fw05)
I reported this blatant non-Balenciaga mainly to see if the ebay counterfeit reporting process is worth its salt. We shall see.
