Another one of those C tag fakes
This one trying to pass itself off as a rare red one (w/pretty pathetic handles to boot)
Even Nikki Hilton can't help this seller!

I hate when sellers use pics of bags that aren't even the bag/style they are selling. Like I can just google pics to see what someone carrying it would look like; I want to see the actual bag that's for sale!

And big thumbs up to @zestypasta for calling out the fakes on Posh. 95% of the sellers get nasty and insist they have a real bag, and the other 5% act confused, like, "wha-??? Fake? Huh??"
And Posh does nothing either way.

Fake “D” tag stinker.

Wow- so much to unpack on that listing:
"City/Work" "sling bag" "available in a small size" "also called part time" "condition is excellent" "no defects"
(meanwhile pic shows big old stain on the back...)

Thanks! I debate doing it sometimes. I don't know how to private message on posh, but then I think someone will buy it....or I see buyers considering it and I just have to say something!

I'm not as good at calling then out as I used to be when I was searching daily and had to decide on the fly... but some of this crap is so bad or screams fake.

Some sellers have thanked me and taken them down... but most are upset and nasty about it. Then I get discouraged 😞 and stop.

Then I do it again. I'm just trying to help and save people from costly mistakes.

Hi there! This is my first time here. I hope I'm posting in the right place. Question: Do all metal plaques need to have the point between Balenciaga and Paris? I'm looking for my first vintage Balenciaga and it's very difficult since it seems to me that the vast majority are fakes

Without commenting on the authenticity of the tag pic you posted, yes I believe that style of tag should read "Balenciaga.Paris"
(Prior to that the tag style was "Balenciaga_Paris")
And unfortunately there are a ton of fakes; if you find something you'd like authenticated please post here:

Post #1 will give you a rundown of the necessary pics we need.
