I believe this is a fake. The rivet and back tag don't look right.

The same bag on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Auth-B...444?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item3a9f52ee34

Now the picture of the rivet was removed from both sites. Please compare the back tag of my Vert Menthe City with the listing and you will notice the difference. Additionally the whip stitching should be a dull not a bright green.

Awful fake! Unfortunately it sold for $570 :nogood:

My question is, if the seller has another Bal that she carries all the time, how did she not see the glaring differences on this?? (Presuming her other bag is authentic, of course) That tag is a dead giveaway!

Maybe this was the seller's only Bal? Who knows. I wonder if people bidding on the bag thought it was a 2003 S/S First, given the bag appears to have a longer strap and has only "Balenciaga" on the inside tag. But certain feature(s) gives it away as a fake.

Please report these fakes on Poshmark. I've reported them several times and sent them to the email recommended in this thread earlier. I got no response and they are still up after weeks. There are actually way more than these, but I want to work on these four first and see what happens.

I love how the seller of the brown bag (the "Balenciago") is going to report you to the administrators! If she was an honest, albeit uneducated, seller, she'd take the listing down because selling it would be fraud.
And if Poshmark's "authenticators" sign off on these bags, then I'll "authenticate" that the little guy on my avatar is a Great Dane!

Oh, I totally got smacked on the hand by Poshmark for commenting on fake listings and basically told to mind my own business. I have reported all the fakes on there to every single person I could reach at the company and used the "report" function on the app and they're still there. I'm really curious about their authentication process and if it really works.
