I don’t know why but this cracks me up! It’s like she has her own mind made up on how she is most comfortable!

I love Gucci as much as the next gal and I mean no offense to anyone who loves this bag but seriously, the people who designed this must have been like, aww crap we sure screwed up this design. But at least the GGs read the same way upside down!:facepalm:

Balenciaga City bags.

They're gorgeous but I can't wear them. They constantly slide down, so I have to constantly rearrange the strap. When the straps are in place, they contort into an unattractive slouchy sausage shape, making them prone to sealant cracking.

I had maybe seven before. I sold most of them, and waiting for one more to be sold!

I hear you. I’ve owned and sold two Cities. Love the look but the strap drove me crazy — it wouldn’t stay on my shoulder and like you said, makes the bag slouch into a weird shape. It looks great worn hand-held by the two short handles, but I’m not a hand-carry kind of girl. Sigh. Just have to admire them in photos I guess!

That's why I got rid of several Bal Part-Times that I had. Constantly slipping off my shoulder and even more of that bad sausage shape cuz they are longer than the City bags.

I have this gorgeous Jimmy Choo Biker Bag (I think that is the name) It is a flap, with a zip on the flap (hard to explain). And that's the problem.

The open part when you lift up the flap seems too shallow for contents not to possibly spill out, and using the zipper gets you into the big part of the bag (again, hard to explain) and it is all SO inconvenient and PITA but the bag looks gorgeous.

I tried to sell it on a good designer resale site where it sat for months. Finally had it returned to me. I do not have the stomach for e bay or any other personal selling platform. So Eff me. I'm stuck, unless I want to donate it, which I Haven't yet. Sorry don't know where this font came from or how to stop it...

RM Mac drove me crazy! The chain handle made the bag so incredibly heavy, so much so that I had to weigh down the bag with stuff so that it would stay on my shoulder a bit better. And I hate when my bag is so full of stuff that I can't really find anything! So annoying to find anything.
Also, if I put the bag on the ground (the BF didn't have a nightstand and I have to sleep with my handbag next to the bag so on the floor it went), if would make such a noise if probably woke up the neighbors!
Sold that bag after 2 uses. And I don't think I'm ever doing to get another chain strap bag ever again.

CELINE trapeze! haha
i got one in 2013 in dune, medium size.
i really love celine esp. in Philo's reign. in fact I'm dreaming of getting a classic box one day (eyeing a large trio now)
don't get me wrong, the trapeze looks super amazing! its a great bag, the construction is great, can put anything in it, except.... its quite tricky to get something out with the clasp and zip (let alone repeat the process to close the bag) unless it is small enough to take it out by putting your hand inside the side wing and take the item out. for cellphone, just put it in the back zipper compartment, so easy.
i only use the bag like 4/5 times, and i never use it since. and with it's quite wide size, maneuvering in a narrow space needs quite an effort. i guess I'm just a lazy girl, practicality and everything haha
but a few weeks ago i saw a lady using a trapeze with the wings tucked in to the bag. and again....it looks great!

1. Bags that are too good (and/or old) to use except on special occasions. That's OK.
2. Bags that are clutches or small to use except on the odd occasion. That's OK
3. Bags that need completely different styling from my usual grab ad go. That's OK too
4. Bags that are look good but are not designed well and make me mad when using HAVE TO GO and I wouldn't care how.

P.S. I would have said weight is also a factor years ago (Chloe Paddy, Bay, MJ Venetia etc). However, I took my Large Bay out Fri because it was pouring with rain and it went with my outfit, suddenly I'm loving using it again. It is heavy, but it's organised, strong and the leather looks better with age plus I don't care if I carry say a bottle of water in it. OMG, it's sometimes so nice just not caring. I appreciate the real brass fittings the properly-made large tabs ad zips, the pockets and the design details, they obviously add to the weight. The positives points certainly outweigh the negs. If it was't good to use it would have gone a long time ago.

This Gucci bag. .. I'm a sucker for the bows but it's become unwearable because my hair keeps getting wrapped up in the metal bows. I go to sit my purse down and a huge chunk of hair gets pulled out! It hurts! This bag is seriously ripping my hair out every time I wear it. Lol!
To be fair though- my hair is a more coarse thick texture and gets tangled in things easily. I'm also not the most careful person. I can't take care of anything, I am rough and careless at times.
I love the look of the bows but think I need to go back to a tote.
In other news- this forum has made me lust after a neverfull whereas before I didn't care much for LV. I like leather and like plain bags usually. Lol ( that was totally off topic! Sorry!)

This made me think of the Fendi By the Way bag ... I was so tempted to buy this a few years ago but every time I tried it on, the snaps on the strap would grab my hair and pull — ouch! :cursing:

Funny thing is, my hair is shorter now so it probably wouldn’t be an issue, but I still hold a grudge against that bag!

My heart's lust is the Chanel Boy, but I don't know how I will feel using a bag that needs super baby-ing and taking care of more than I do (e.g. the bag gets an umbrella and I don't).

I never loved a bag enough that I didn’t use and wanted to kept it. Serves no need for me to have things sit in the closet with the excuse it cost too must to sell or gift to someone. So I need to keep it.
I have kept bags for a few months deciding if I was truly over them or changed my mind and I ended up never changing my mind.
