These are absolutely beautiful in your gorgeous home carlinha!!! I'm particularly inspired by the Under the Waves design, as we have a place in Florida, and I have yet to find unique pillows for our sofa...problem solved, thanks to you!! And I just adore your dogs...bless that little fighter you have (mine has also battled cancer twice) ❤️❤️

Simply gorgeous!!!!!

Did they remove any of the scarf material, or is the scarf complete, because when you fold the scarf as pictured on your pillows the resulting square is 25 inches and you mention the pillows are 22. Is there a seam on the sides or just folded over?

BTW what is the filling, I'm allergic to feathers. Also do you know if they would accept a smaller size scarf like the 27's. I'm going to my boutique this weekend to ask, but they usually don't have much current information. Thanks again for posting your beauties, pillows and doggies.

Hi,
Maybe the SA I spoke to in SF has got it wrong - According to her, the cost is $250 per scarf without any cushion unlike what OP had gotten. The cushion size is 24 x 24 and if the scarf/ves are drop over in SF, they will be send to Beverly Hills.

Carlinha - Your pillows are even more beautiful seeing on a bigger screen than on IG. I would love to have some of mine done too and wondering if every H store has this service. Will have to ask my Vegas store. Also something to keep in mind what design to use knowing how they are positioning the zipper. It wouldn't work on design that is horizontally across with one figure.

Thank you CaviarChanel, I'm sure each boutique will have a different answer. I will post what I find out when I stop in this weekend.

I've inquired with my store about this process as well and they would accept smaller scarves, however the process is the same (all 4 corners folded to the center) so small scarves like pocket squares would be pretty tiny finished pillows.

This is soooo awesome ! You've got me wanting them all hahaha~ now I've gotta go dig up my 90cm's. Thanks babe for sharing !
you're welcome and can't wait to see what you choose!

thank you! the scarf is complete, and just folded over as i showed in the pic.... i think the difference in inches is simply because the pillow is big and fluffy and i did not measure it at the middle thickest portion of the pillow, just at the edges.

to be honest i am not sure what the filling is.... it is something very soft and fluffy that expands back quickly if you smush it. it does not feel like down to me, but i am not 100% sure, definitely something you need to ask/clarify with Hermes. i will let you know if i find out anything.

that sounds strange they would not include the cushion?? so the price they quoted you is to just sew the scarf into a pillowcase, and then good luck to you to find a cushion that fits?? or they are selling you the cushion for another price?

thanks chkpf, i am so happy with how they turned out. can't wait to see which scarves you choose! it is definitely important to choose the right design as not all will look good the way it is folded in the back!

My little Coton had thyroid cancer the first time around, and this time, he's bravely fighting a kidney tumor. But like yours, he's a brave little soldier!

I did this in SF. The cost includes the cushion... otherwise it's nearly impossible to insert any cushion in... have received mine for a long time and I love it!!

[emoji92][emoji847][emoji93] A dream come true for me... many years ago I had hoped to make some of my favorite Hermès 90 cm silk scarves into throw pillows... I have collected some scarves not because I wear them, but because I just love their designs - pure art. I know some people have had pillows made by trusted seamstresses/tailors. I had no one locally I knew or trusted, so I abandoned the idea.

Several months ago I found out that Hermès - the company itself and their very own artisans - are now making their scarves into pillows... who could you trust better?!! I was ecstatic and practically ran to the store with my favorite scarves in hand. After 8 weeks of waiting in anticipation, they have arrived and surpassed my dreams. The cost is $250 per scarf into pillow (cushion included in price; scarf of course you have to provide or purchase separately), and the average wait time is 6-8 weeks. Not all designs will lend themselves well, as the 90 cm will be folded at each corner, so you have to visually imagine how your scarf will look like (see detailed pics below)... there is a little zipper in the back so the scarf can still be removed and cleaned/washed!! Pillow size is approximately 55 x 55 cm (22 x 22 inches) so it’s quite manageable and a good size for the sofa/bed. The pillow cushion is soooo soft, fluffy and cushiony!

Has anyone else availed of this new service? If so, please post pics as I would love to see how a scarf design translates into the folded pillow!

Here are my six:

(Having technical difficulties with posting pics here!!!! What happened to photobucket!!!)

Omg! I have a tough time picking my jaw from the floor [emoji28]....I absolutely love the idea of using the scarves to make pillow cases! Your choices my dear are spot on and I am drooling over the splashes of color in your gorgeous living room! I definitely want to explore my options at my store now! These are just perfect pieces of art. Thank you so much for starting this thread and sharing the information. If not for you I wouldn't even have known that H offers this service!

I asked my local SM about getting some pillows done... she is insisting it’s a service that is not currently offered by H and has never been in the past :( she even apparently contacted Paris about it and they confirmed that :( I’m not based in the US... I wonder if the service is exclusive to the US?

oh no, perhaps it is just in the US? do you have a friend or family in the US you can send your scarves to who can help you?

I'm not sure if this is an exclusive event but I can only confirm that I heard the same thing with CaviarChanel that scarves are sent to BH to finish. In SF store, they even have one available on display but also for sale.
