Next stop, Hermes boutique. It’s right by the port with 2 stories of store space. Staff were friendly and the air con was working! But no Birkins or bigger Constance. Only a mini Constance in green satin. It was so small that I don’t think I can fit my iPhone in! The store was fairly busy as the holiday season was picking up in France. Nice store but nothing I wanted.

The rest of St Tropez was lovely! LV, Dior, Chanel, D&G etc, you name it, they have it.

We drove to Cannes in the afternoon, visited H boutique there too. And guess what? Their air con broken down too! It was boiling in the store! The store itself was divided into 2 parts, leather and scarves in one and fine jewellery in another. I couldn’t bear the temperature in there and the staff couldn’t be bothered to serve you either! Quite a disgrace to be honest!

Sadly there is no Hermes store in Grasse. At this small gallery, I found those little gems! Original Hermes posters from 1936 & 1940. I wonder whether I can still track down those scarves in the posters!

We drove to Mougins from Grasse. A totally charming and artistic village. Miss Iris in action again. Excuse my flip flops. I only changed to the Maxmara dress but kept the flip flops on walking around the hilly and stony village. I did change to Manolos before going to L’amandier for dinner.

Popped into Hermes boutique of course (what else?) There was hardly anything which wasn’t in exotics. All belts were ostrich/croc/gator. A huge cabinet of SLG, ALL in exotic skins with diamonds! And a black croc shiny Kelly 28 cm with white gold and diamonds too! Truly stunning!
