36 mm Rolex Too Big?

Hi ladies. I have posted about this before so apologies if you’ve seen my prior post. Anyway, I have a 31 mm DJ Slate fluted jubilee and was thinking of trading it for the same configuration in a 36. This will likely be my one and only Rolex and expensive watch.

Just wanted to get your point and see if the 36 is too big on me. I have posted other configurations in a 36 on as well. I’m 5’8” with a 7 in wrist. The last two photos are my watch.

I for one trend towards larger watches and literally just got today a vintage DJ 36. I'm 5’6” with a 6” wrist and I wear anything from a 34 to 40. Some people think larger watches look more casual but the DJ with the fluted bezel can be dressed up or down IMHO. It looks great on you and def does not look too big from your photos!

Where do you live? What’s your lifestyle/work environment like? This is really blingy and not an everyday option to me but I live in a casual environment in a high crime area (Bay Area). This might look totally at home in Las Vegas, Miami, Monaco, Singapore, etc

I live just outside of Los Angeles and work from home. I’m a mom, and while I don’t have a particularly social lifestyle at the moment, I’ve always leaned toward being slightly overdressed in any setting—it's just who I am. I live in my own little world—Monaco might be the right vibe!

I love pieces with character and the sparkle of diamonds. Jewelry and makeup are part of my everyday ritual. I was torn between the mother-of-pearl and champagne dials (same configuration), but then I came across the bright green dial—and it stopped me in my tracks. In person, it’s a deep emerald tone that reminded me of the rich green cloth on a polished wood desk. It’s elegant, bold, and full of personality.

I would wear it daily… why not!

I used to live in LA. Sounds like you could rock it!

@Marishka I wouldn't wear a $60k, very Rolex-y looking watch as my daily, no. It's such a statement piece that personal safety and appropriateness would be in mind and not always the best choice for everyday. Then there's maintaining it through daily activities, though that depends on lifestyle, I guess. The size is fine, though.
