You will be fine. Seoul is VERY safe. I was there in April / May for surgeries and will be there Oct 5-19 for some skin treatments. I am staying in Sinsa area (part of Gangnam) at a cheap AirBnb (under $50USD/ night). If you know where you are having surgery staying 2-3 weeks after is plenty for recovery and exploring.

DM me if you want to hang out if you’re there during same time. I had rib rhino last time. It’s uncomfortable but totally mangeable.
Please check your DM xox

Hi All,
I am travelling to Seoul for PS in late September for 33 nights. Any ideas which places I can stay in that are safe? Not sure about hotels as want to be able to do laundry, cook, etc given length of my stay. I am flying in from London and need to be in the Gagnam area since that's where all the clinics are.
Any suggestions please? I am also unsure if 33 nights is too much - I am having harvested rib cartillage rhinoplasty and anti ageing. I have never had PS in my life and just wanted the reassurance for time incase anything goes wrong. I suffered very badly with just mere coolsculpting to my abdomen so Lord knows what will actuall happen now that I am being cut open. I am a solo female traveller.
Thanks for all your tips!
Can i ask which clinic you have booked with and are you having a face lift? I am also from Uk, near London I am booked for November with a clinic in Seoul…, I am fearful That I have not done enough research…

Hello,I’m not on kakao talk , is not just for Korean speaking?i have booked the flights but I am very apprehensive and I may cancel… My Gp flights however are booked on 26th..

I'm planning to consult at ILAC and few other areas that seem concentrated around gangnam station. Did anyone go to clinics in this area? In the past I stayed around the sinsa station area, but wouldn't mind being around gangnam station I saw there's a hotel by ilac called Ocloud and Designer's Hotel LYJ. they mentioned they might be able to get me a clinic rate if I book through them. I'm reluctant to airbnb from past experience.

Oh thank you so much! Really appreciate this! My pain threshold is so low and I got really ill with coolsculpting so a bit worried. I was in pain for a very very long time. Also when I had wrist surgery in the past it took me a long time to recover. I was drowsy and tired for a week. So I am just really worried and think I need all the time to recover…my instinct is telling to book longer but the other part of me is saying it’s too long. Plus I would also like to tour Seoul and if possible take day trip to North Korea if this is safe. Let me check the hotels you recommended. Thank you again.
Depending on yoir situation. I had a very complicated rino to do as I was totally botched in the UK with breathing issue. My surgery lasted 6 hours so I opted to stay in total of 3.5 weeks. For the primary etc I think on safe side, 2 weeks is good in case you want to discuss result or need minor adjustment.

Thank you! OCloud seems nice! I am staying Gangman station itself then will move further to Guro. If you want to chat on KKT let me know and I will DM you my ID

T is this you? We are talking on KKT ❤️

Since I have a plastic surgery experience in Korea, I definitely recommend for you to find and stay at a hotel, very close to your hospital that you are going to choose. Because you need to be at the hospital for at least 2-3 times post-op.
