I am staying in Sinsa area (part of Gangnam) at a cheap AirBnb (under $50USD/ night). If you know where you are having surgery staying 2-3 weeks after is plenty for recovery and exploring.

I suffered very badly with just mere coolsculpting to my abdomen so Lord knows what will actuall happen now that I am being cut open. I am a solo female traveller.

Can i ask which clinic you have booked with and are you having a face lift? I am also from Uk, near London I am booked for November with a clinic in Seoul…, I am fearful That I have not done enough research…

I'm planning to consult at ILAC and few other areas that seem concentrated around gangnam station. Did anyone go to clinics in this area? In the past I stayed around the sinsa station area, but wouldn't mind being around gangnam station I saw there's a hotel by ilac called Ocloud and Designer's Hotel LYJ. they mentioned they might be able to get me a clinic rate if I book through them. I'm reluctant to airbnb from past experience.

Also when I had wrist surgery in the past it took me a long time to recover. I was drowsy and tired for a week. So I am just really worried and think I need all the time to recover…my instinct is telling to book longer but the other part of me is saying it’s too long. Depending on yoir situation. I had a very complicated rino to do as I was totally botched in the UK with breathing issue. My surgery lasted 6 hours so I opted to stay in total of 3.5 weeks. For the primary etc I think on safe side, 2 weeks is good in case you want to discuss result or need minor adjustment.

Since I have a plastic surgery experience in Korea, I definitely recommend for you to find and stay at a hotel, very close to your hospital that you are going to choose. Because you need to be at the hospital for at least 2-3 times post-op.
