30th bday- new bag or 2-tone ballon bleu?

I posted this question in the chanel forum but I realized that the responses may be a wee bit biased considering the group :)

So my 30th birthday is coming up in March and my DF offered to buy me something special to commemorate the day. Of these options which would you get? If none of these options ring your bell I'm open to suggestions :)

A) Cartier two-tone Ballon Bleu in Medium (I already own a large Cartier Tank)

or

B) Beige clair caviar Jumbo chanel w/ GHW (I already own a Jumbo caviar in Black w/ SHW)

I would probably get the bag if it was me but I've already got several watches, I recently turned 40 & DH got me a 36mm SS datejust so probably the watch as it's something that you can wear for years, I was going to get a Chanel bag for my 40th but decided I wanted something to keep either jewellery or a watch & I started looking when I had only just turned 39 & I kept changing my mind but then decided that I wanted the watch & I'm so pleased with my decision.

I REALLY want the jumbo caviar also, but in black. However, for the price, I think the watch is a better investment. The ballon bleu is such a beautiful watch - the face is large, clean and whimsical looking. It's very modern yet classic all at the same time. My mom's Chanel bag from the 80s is all scuffed now and looks old and dated (even though it's the classic flap bag and my mom took VERY Good care of it.)

The watch will always look beautiful .. .even after 20 years, all you need is a nice polish to make it look brand new!
