30th bday gift - cartier love bracelet or diamond studs?

I vote for the Love. The price increases are insane and there are so many different routes to source diamond earrings. There is only Cartier for the Love and they are continually increasing prices.
If you like wearing bracelets, then I would definitely go with the LOVE. I bought a LOVE cuff a few years ago and absolutely cherish it, it makes me smile everytime I see my wrist. Whereas, you'll only see your earrings when you look in the mirror

I'd go for the love if you plan on getting one. The price increases are crazy. The resale on the loves is great as well. Get the studs another day.

If I had to choose between a Cartier Love and diamond earrings my question would be...how big are the diamonds
No seriously...I'd probably choose the Love and then go for diamond earrings later. The Love keeps going up in price which drives the price up on the second hand market as well if you decide to go that route for the old screw system which is what I would do after reading about some of the experiences on this board.

I love the story behind the Love bracelet too! But actually because of the story, I couldn't decide whether I should 'save' the bracelet for a future wedding anniversary present instead, if it would be more suited to an anniversary... Of course by then the price might be higher!

My husband got me a YG love for our 10 year anniversary in April just before the last price increase. I adore the bracelet! In fact, I am really hoping to get another love to stack with it before the next price increase which I heard would be in March or April. If I don't get another one this year, I feel like the price will be out of reach for us.
I think you should choose the diamond studs. They should be in every ladies jewelry box.
Nice large ones are especially good. diamond prices are all over the place too.

I would choose the studs 100%! I think they are a classic staple. The Love is sweet, but not a staple item IMO.

studs!!!!! I have worn mine every day for the past 13 years since I treated myself to them (pre-DH). I had a love and sold it last week- it's beautiful but got in the way too much-I was too scared to scratch it and it does bump against everything and anything…. Good luck-what a fun decision!
