I have a HW 3-stone with the center stone being 1.06 and each of the side stones being .5ct for a total of 2.06. I LOVE how it looks. I wear a 5 1/2 size ring and all you see are diamonds! My stones are also round brilliant. Your ring is GORGEOUS!

I have a 3 stone with a 1.75 carat center and .50 carat each for the side stones. I absolutely love it and get tons of compliments. They are all princess cut stones.

^ That oval three stone is about the same size as my Tiffany three stone. The center stone is 1.06 cts, with the sides at 1.01 tcw. So my e-ring is a little above 2 cts total. My stones are round brilliants so they look bigger in person than other fancy shape cuts.

I think most engagement rings are beautiful, but there's something about a classic three stone. I definitely think having three larger stones makes a statement without having to be too ornate. I do see VERY large three stones to be less common... I guess one only has so much finger real estate for three stones. For my size 3 finger, my ring is the biggest I could get in this style no doubt. It took over a month for Tiffany to recast my setting because of the side stones and you can not see ANY band from the front. The stones are very slightly overlapping and any bigger and they would have to be obviously overlapping.

Whew! I have finally found your Tiffany 3-stone in the e-ring thread!
The balance of 3 stones looks ideal for your hand and quite a volume ring!
Looking good with 3-stone ring is more difficult with a solitaire.
I would like to have one in the future, either oval or emelard.;)

Thank you! Thank you! Though maybe after we get married and celebrate a big anniversary, I'll get a giant solitaire like yours ;) for a RHR.

I have a three stone ring. The center stone is an asscher, and weighs .94 ctw. The trillion side stones are each .15 ctw, and together the entire carat weight of the ring is 1.24. I wear a size 4.5 ring, so it covers a fair amount of finger for me :)

OK, so I never realized just how hard it was to take decent (not even good) pics of diamonds since they're so sparkly. After trying for 15 minutes I still have not a good one to show you, but at least you see size comparison. And I want to answer your question about the smallest I think looks good: I love ALL three stone rings! Half carat total weight to 7 carat total weight! They are ALL gorgeous!

Here is mine, RBC .8 center, .4 each side stone, 14k white gold shank with platinum head. My wedding band is half carat total and the anniversary band is .2 diamond and 3 pink sapphires both in 14k wg

WOW! Like a flower garden!!!
SO, Beautiful!

I'm a big 3-stone ring fan.
3-stone rings are really elegant.

I gave up purchasing it because it did not look so great with my wedding bands (Tiffany's celebration rings).

Since a 3-stone ring is kind of my dream ring, I am not the OP, but pls share the photos of your ring (if possible, the side view, too!)! Or, please let me know where you have posted your photos.

From my experience, I might prefer HW's 3-stone to Tiffany's because HW's setting seemed to be a bit higher. Setting preference high or low depends on the shpae of your finger, and possibly the shape of the stones.

Thanks!!!:p
