I will check out prices for you too and check out the website you chose a bit more. I really do think that in general less than an excellent or ideal cut is fine in a bracelet and/or small diamonds but in bigger stones I would want a really superb cut as well. But in general a bigger stone will show everything a lot more; yellow/brown tones, clarity issues, etc., so not only a bigger stone is already more expensive but you need better quality too. My 2 ct bangle was a preowned piece which was numbered and I need to research it further who the designer was but the stones are also good cut, clarity and color and it is beautiful. Also, my favorite piece is an Art Deco diamond watch with 50 some odd achtcant cut diamonds, so an older cut and color and clarity are only good and somewhat mixed but it is amazingly sparkly. Quite honestly, I often find I love the look at many smaller diamonds as there is something about how they reflect light together and add onto each other's sparkle.
I totally agree about small diamonds. The only large diamond I would want is on a ring or solitaire pendant.
Thank you for looking into the vendor! I'm new to diamonds and don't know whether I'm getting a good deal or not. I think in general diamond/gold is more expensive on the uk we have 20% vat so I think we need to take in consideration of that
