I am also curious, does anyone know if the other bags in caramel (i think coco handle and maybe business affinity?) are aligned with either of these colors? I have been looking for the coco but having such a hard time making a decision!

I’m not sure the CCH I believe is in caviar, but a similar color to the lamb caramel pictured at the beginning. The thing I did to find more pictures was search #chanel21p on Instagram and lots of photos of not only the classic, but the 19, CCH and business affinity also come up...just an option.

It’s very difficult to make decisions based on just a photo!

I definitely prefer lamb. The lambskin from 21P is absolutely incredible quality too, the best I've seen for lambskin in a long time. Very luxurious, thick, and puffy quilts.
Totally agree. Just want to add the classic flap medium I got has even better quality lamb leather as well as structure so distinguishable from the mini square caramel lamb.

do you mean the mini square lamb is different quality?
Yes, both in terms of leather quality and structure, compared to my 21p medium classic flap caramel and 19s lambskin mini square. Overall, I feel newly Chanel minis I got starting from 2020, whether rectangular or square, have inferior leather quality and structure compared to classic flap in lambskin. Leather often seems to be thinner in touch, some quite dry, not puffy enough, easily shown scratch, etc. As I had bought or saw quite some at boutiques, the only best mini in lamb leather which has the same quality to classic flap is my 19s mini square in green which is made in France. Its leather is so thick buttery and structure is also great as classic flap. Even though it's an older version, it shows no scratch both inside and out, while my 20S black mini square has shown quite some scratch inside the flap and on the bottom which do not disappear and its leather quite dry.

Structure wise, most minis in leather I had or seen have some issues such as tilting front flap, uneven side curves, less solid base sometimes seems stepped by someone. Almost all of my classic flaps in lamb and my 19S mini square have very strong and solid base, side curves (very even) and front flap (even straight lines in the front). Also, tweed mini rectangular I had made in France seems to have better structure than the leather minis.

While I have to disclaim Chanel's lambskin varies each season based on my own experiences, I also heard that Chanel save better leather for classic line. But when I compare my 21p mini square (made in Italy) and 21p medium classic flap both in caramel, the differences are quite obvious. The lamb in the mini square is nice enough but surely thinner and feels smooth, while the leather of the classic so thick, oily buttery and you can feel not just softness but also the depth and heartwarming texture of the leather. The structure of that mini is not bad, solid base, even flap, but what I noticed is that it seems to add some insert to support the side curve as I can feel the plastic or some hard thing inside, while my other mini square simply feel leather without any insert. That's the best I can describe. The 21p mini square is the only one which I felt the insert and also the side curves seem artificially even, not naturally, while all my other minis I don't feel the insert, the side curves are naturally even or not even, which I believe is an indication of qualify based on leather thickness and the craftsmanship of the structure.

That's one of the reasons after owning quite some minis, I prefer classic flaps small size than mini and justify the much higher price tag.
