It is very small. The photo below is a stock photo of the same mini Mon Tresors but with the FENDI logo emblazoned on it.I'm sorry. I hate buying mistakes! I guess if I have any resolution for 2025, it is to not make any buying mistakes.
It looks awfully small. Usually this is one of my favorite styles. I bought a similar Ferragamo in 2024 that I like but could have done without. I have other bags in the same color that are more useful. I can carry the Ferragamo but it is really too small.
@Bag peace , thanks for the tag. I am thrilled with the one bespoke bag I have, but I’m not particularly patient, and don’t really enjoy (I feel the pressure) of so many choices). And, while I love my mini Loewe, I’m not as fond of the new edge. So, my bag purchases are pretty stable for now. . . I would like to be sure that I rotate and use all my bags this yearIsn't it funny how sometimes you just feel connected to a place? Like your soul craves it and you only feel like yourself when you're there.
I think you're very lucky that you got to live in your "happy place" during your lifetime! Many people dream but never get the chance to experience it.
@880 I forgot to tag you earlier, but I'm curious about your bag closet for the upcoming year. You always go with the flow rather than plan specific purchases but, I wondered if you're feeling the itch for something bespoke again? Do you get much use out of your gorgeous Duret? Or do you think you'd add another Loewe? I've been seeing a lot of the puzzle and it looks so cool when it's all slouchy!
You look amazing. Re a shawl, you could do a beige/blush or go darker like ebene.Bringing closure to the dress for a ranch/rustic outdoor wedding. It just came in today!
And omg, it’s a perfect fit! This almost never happens when I order online.

It came with a nice garment bag and Ralph Lauren hanger.
It’s lined on the inside so it’s not see through and it still feels comfy and lightweight.
Any color recommendations for a shawl? (Though let’s try not to go for white lol)
Very pretty! We are recently back from a Caribbean cruise. DH told me to pick out some Christmas gifts while we were away, so I asked to stop into a jewelry shop in San Juan, Puerto Rico, that I like. Continuing on my mission to upgrade my jewelry, I picked out the below bracelets. The top is from Fope, an Italian brand; it’s from their Eka collection, yellow gold with a white gold rondel. The beauty is no clasps. Instead the bracelet has a spring system and you just roll it on and off. The bottom is a white gold and diamond flexibangle. They both go well with existing stacks I have. Got them at the start of the trip and wore them a ton throughout!

Excellent progress!Fashionphile is doing their usually craziness. I requested a quote on a Dior tote I wanted to consign. They offered a $300 buy out. Ann’s Fabulous Finds will consign it and gave me a range of $800-$1000 for my proceeds. How does Fashionphile get anyone to send them their bags when they offer so little!
Ann’s also gave me a quote on the Chanel flap I want to sell. I’d lose about a third of what I paid for it so I’m going to keep it on sale for a little while longer.
In any case three of my 10 bags-to-be-exited are going out today: one is a sold, one to be refreshed (my Bvlgari bucket) and one to be consigned (Dior Tote). Yay!Seven to go!
I'm sorry your family has to go through this. My MIL was in a similar situation. Her daughter (my husband's sister) was constantly criticizing her and yelling at her. She was 95 and sometimes forgot things. Her daughter lived with her - we lived 500 miles away. My husband's sister used to be pleasant but after she moved in with her mother, she was nasty to us. We haven't had any contact with her since my MIL died. There Are outside carers -3 times a day personal carers 365 days a year, and 3 times a week another carer for several hours (who just happens to be a friend of my sister’s).
There IS accommodation for a live in carer, but my Dad hates the intrusion of people in the house, and will not allow a live in carer.
He often goes out when my sister is there ironically , as they argue continually..it’s a dreadful situation..
Usually I only go when my sister isn’t there, but my Niece needed to see my parents.
My heart breaks for my Mum, and for my Dad, who must wonder what has happened to his younger daughter , and is so stressed at the state of his wife of 60 years that he cannot throw my sister out, much as he feels like it..
I love them! Extra bonus is having no clasps. There are so many bracelets I pass up because the clasps are too hard to do by myself. I even got one of those things that is supposed to hold it to make it easier and still can't do some of them.We are recently back from a Caribbean cruise. I had my eyes checked a few weeks ago and now I have an appointment with a specialist. Apparently there is something wrong but they aren't telling me if it is serious. I can't get in until the end of the month. So that makes me nervous.I hear you! I swear I can’t see anymore. So putting on bracelets has been difficult as of late. I really like not having to deal with a clasp. And that reminds me I need to get my eyes checked…
