Sorry to hear that your order didnāt go through. As the others mentioned, they got slammed with many messages with combination of short staffed that I guess not many payment links were sent yesterday. I also texted Chris within hour of the post for the Super Flat TP and the Zippy Coin Purse. He responded very quickly but advised me to contact Nella his associate so I did. I got a text from Nella shortly after saying to expect a payment link in 20-30 mins but it never happened and that was when I was told by Chris that they were short staffed on the floor and the person who managed payment link only had an hr to spend on processing MK orders for the dayThat's. Insane. The way this whole thing has been handled by corporate - I mean, I guess they met their goals because it's all anyone is talking about right now. But the CA's taking the brunt of this insanity, WHOLE STORES being shut out (and stock being pulled from them), frustrated clients. It's exactly as you said: a mess.
Thank you for the update from Chris - I feel bad for the team and it helps put things into perspective. It's 100% a 1st World problem, so I think I'm going to move on.
Guess the ZCP is sold out by the time they get to my request and interestingly, the receipt sent to me was actually from the store on 5th Ave NY not the Rodeo store. Either way, I tried to keep my expectations low throughout this whole process especially when both Chris and Nella were very apologetic about the whole delay issue. Maybe theyāll have another restock and youāll get yours very soon

Being nerdy here- can someone tell all about the LV Hands x MoCA history? I've read a few brief articles but I couldn't find out what the history of the LV Hands logo was about, apart from the popup at LA's Museum of Contemporary Art in 2007. Why did TM design Hands, specifically? I love knowing this stuff about art collabs
Same. When I initially reached out to Nella I was told I'd get a link in 20/30 min. I waited an hour or so and reached back out. They apologized and assured me I would get my order placed. I assured them it was fine and I patiently waited. I figured the TP was gone since I didn't get a link until today. So imagine my surprise when that e-mail showed up in my inbox. I was also surprised it was coming from the 5th Ave. store.I also didnāt realize that neither Chris or Nella was the ones who managed payment links. Long story short, I finally received my payment link today but only for the TP, paid and it is now in preparation!!!
Fingers crossed yours goes into prep soon. In the meantime enjoy your awesome vacation there! The weather and warm must be amazing!!!! Eat an extra cheesecake for me from the cheesecake factory!! š
I know what you mean but I won't use bandeaux. The handles are quite small/short and the bandeaux are quite long, better looking on speedy 25 or bigger IMO. I had a speedy 25 (sold a few years ago) and hadn't had a bandeaux on the handles and they aged quite well ( I don't use hand cream etc during the day). Showing no dirt. Of course patina will show up anyway.
