Love your video, especially also the last part with the stroll through the shop! It is so much better to see the pieces on video or other photos as on the webpage, this is really helpful if one tries to decide what to buy. Congratulation on your Emily cover, it is supercute!

I am actually thinking now, that there must have been massive stock everywhere: the shipping is totally messed up. We don‘t see soooo much unboxings here at TPF, but also on Insta or TikTok or Youtube, so that stuff must go somewhere else to people who don‘t post on social media or here.
About US/Europe: US is much much much bigger then Europe. The must have proportially more stock. I bet there are also proportial much more people interested in LV. E.g. in my personal life bubble I only know one who is as enthusiastic as me about LV and a third one who is partially interested.
Aww thanks a million @fettfleck I really appreciate your kind feedback on my video too! And I wanted to get my video up as quick as I could to help everyone. I'm with you, and am happy I could show some more of these fab LVxTM pieces and how they look in real life x

Just MO, but I’ve come to the conclusion that LV did this on purpose. They lost sales last year for the first time in a really long time. Had a dip in their last quarter. By creating all this hype knowing there wouldn’t be enough to go around allowed those that were becoming bored with the brand to talk about it again. Or even buy something else since they couldn’t get what they wanted. It’s the same old games and marketing tactics they’ve done before. Everyone’s talking about the collection, and they’re getting tons of money on loan while people wait to see if their order will be fulfilled. LVMH is a multi-billion dollar corporation. This isn’t their first rodeo. They’re padding their earnings for the first quarter of 2025 for their share holders. I feel bad for the SA’s because they’re the ones that get caught in the middle, and are just trying to do their jobs. They don’t know what is going on, and have to deal with the angry/frustrated customers.
Absolutely it is all controlled chaos. I have a sneaky suspicion we will receive a “due to demand and popularity we have decided to make this a part of our permanent collection”. They did it the first time around… who is to say this won’t also run for 10 years

My CA mentioned them to me too and I told her tell me when pre orders open although I just dont think I can do it, other than maybe a bandeau for my other monogram pieces. The cerise collection on the other hand could seriously damage my wallet!
I don't care for the blossoms. Cherries... well I might throw my hat into the ring once again.

My Superflat Speedy has just arrived. Will inspect it closely later, but what I've noticed immediately is that the box was torn. Outside box and inside box. Don't know if UPS has thrown it around or what happened.
One thing I also noticed while unpacking, is that there is a small nick/tear on top of one of the handles. Nothing very obvious but you can see it when you really zoom in on the 3th pic. So not visible from a distance as you can see. The rest of the bag looks good at first sight, have to inspect later because UPS was late and I have a few more appointments today, and then it will be evening and dark already. So I can inspect further tomorrow.
The box is not a problem, I could always exchange for another one, but it makes me wonder what happened to it during transport.
If it's only the nick on the handle, I think I'll keep it.
Would you accept the bag if it had a small nick/tear on the handle? Or would you try to exchange it?
Oh no! Hope you can figure it out. Just wanted to say this is my favourite item from this drop. Love it!

Ok guys. I received the square and Marellini bag in black.

Thoughts: the colors are not as vibrant as the original collection. The square is very delicate. I’ll get some use out of it.
The bag is cute, but didn’t make my heart sing. The round pouch is too big for the bag & the mirror is the portion that bothers me the most. It isn’t functional to me. It should have been a card holder. Bag holds my essentials. I really wished the round pouch was a piece you could buy on its own. I’m not going to keep her. Unless someone can convince me lol.

I ordered two items last week from the same store (one on launch day and the other on 1/5), my 1/5 order was cancelled yesterday. So I'm not sure that all orders from last week will be honored. One CA did say that they were waiting until Monday to see what orders they could fill, but my second order was still cancelled and refunded.
Oh Im so sorry your second order was cancelled and sure hope that first order makes it. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Which item was cancelled?

This is what I figured out too when I went to the Louis Vuitton store and stood outside in line (in the cold!) for a good 1/2 hour only to make it in the store and for my assigned SA to tell me that there were no Murakami available, save for the athletic shoes.

I thought it was weird for one of the staff members to not come outside let us know that this collection was not available, not even to be ordered but it became evident to me that this was not done because they wanted us to come in the store and buy something else. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

This is definitely a marketing game and has turned me off.
