I just got my pouchette accessories delivered! There was no shipping information showing up on the website or in the app so I figured I'd receive it sometime next week from Las Vegas to Southern California but surprise! It's SO beautiful and the gold chain strap looks so much like the Tiffany hardware jewelry line. It's so substantial. And this beauty is MADE IN FRANCE. It's absolutely beautiful in person. I didn't get any of the special wrapping tissue or ribbon or tags or stickers or bag but it doesn't really matter to me. I posted a couple of IG stories and posts and video on my IG if you want to see more. I feel so blessed to have received this lovely and special piece. IG is Wendy's_lovinglife

My orders still don’t show up in my account or any emails so I am done. I am assuming they don’t have the inventory to send me which stinks. This is why I will avoid preordering again. There are other bags that I want that are in stock I’ll go for. This frustration isn’t worth my time …LV has officially sucked all the fun out of these purchases.

I just got an email a few minutes ago that my order shipped, but it still doesn't show up in my account. I think with all the glitching going on with the website yesterday, it didn't get associated with my account.

Wow, I am going to have to try this on my very old Stephen Sprouse speedy! Is this “Vachetta” paint colour the best one for painting over really old vachetta? How many coats do you usually need and do you also prep the leather before painting? Thanks so much for sharing!!
Hi. I make sure it is clean and dry and that I have really good magnifying glasses on. Hard to appreciate LV detail stitching til you see it magnified 🤪Using the “vachetta” color takes some patience and practice to go around all the yellow LV stitching and leather pinstripe detail so definitely test it out/practice and consider starting on inconspicuous/inside areas on straps or the bag before working around to the outside. Two coats is usually enough to cover severe stains. It is definitely an art project but my effort has definitely been rewarded with pieces that look almost brand new.

This may affect resale ability but I never sell mine, I just want them to look great so I can keep enjoying them.

So, my sweeter than sweet hubby offered to make the not so insignificant drive to NYC for pop up Murakami- he’s a gem. 🥰 Such a fun experience that I highly recommend if you can get to a pop up! Everyone was super nice and it was well worth the trip. From the special coins that are used in the vending machine, (I won stickers) to the displays of both the older and new collections, to the cappuccinos, and of course the merch, oh I could go on! Enjoy!
I'm feeling jealous of how much fun NYCers get to have. lol. I love the paper cups... and aww that panda sponge (?) cake!

Thank you! I never sell my bags too .. great project to try and make them look a little fresher 😄

Totally up to you. I prefer the brush method because I dont like the aerosols from the spray and feel like it gives a thicker protective coat. But Apple Guard is fast and you dont have to worry about not leaving brush strokes.

With the brush method I started out doing the undersides/inside rims of bags and straps until I felt confident enough to go for the gusto and do the entire bag.

If you are doing an old bag with the beige Angelus, that is a project and requires precision, a steady hand and painstakingly brushing around the yellow stitching and thin brown line stamped into the straps and trim.

Thank you for sharing with us! I think we all have learnt a lot from you!

May I know for new bags, is this the right product to use?

Hi, sorry. Thought I'd start a thread to discuss specifics regarding the 2025 Murakami collection.

I realize that the answers may be buried in other threads, but I never saw them myself, and wanted them gathered in one place.

1) Does anyone know for how long the 2025 x TM will be available? It's basically FOMO that drove me to have spent launch day trying to order at least one piece. I will be continuing to stalk the website for the next few weeks unless we know it might be around for at least a few months to a year, then I can live my life more naturally and just wait for items to restock.

The original collab was available for years (about a decade?) until LV decided they didn't like the oversaturation.

2) One of the turnoffs for me is that the original x TM production had the surface paint wear off with use. Original canvas prints tend to remain beautiful for decades of regular use, so that's a pro for sticking to originals. Has anyone read or heard anything about 2024 x TM having the canvas coating applied over the x TM print? Or is it more likely to be similar in that the paint will wear off over time again?

3) Does anyone know whether LV will add more pieces to each line (multicolore/superflat, cherry blossoms, cherries)?

I really wish LV went back to their roots and allowed for a wider pre-order system and some degree of customization. Like, I donno, if you wanted a black multicolore Rosalie with a blue leather interior, and they gave an estimate of 10 months, I'd be like sure, hold onto my money for 10 months, I'm happy to wait.

Edit: I umm, changed the year to 2025 rather than 2024. 🫢

That looks similar to my bottle. Always test it on an inconspicuous area first just to be sure.

I cant say it enough this can ONLY be used on vachetta that has not been touched with bare hands or you run the risk of darkening any previously invisible fingerprint oils on the leather. I found this out the hard way with one purse I had touched but that had no visible stains on it.

My thanks again to all who contributed the Good, the Bad & the Ugly aspects of this launch.

I decided to try my luck as a walk-in at Flagship 57th Avenue after monitoring the ‘Find In Store’ option for any cardholder, wallet or (hahahah-funny) Nano Speedy Noir. Though the status changed often, a few cardholders were showing in stock at 57th and SoHo- I’m in NYC for those who hadn’t guessed 😉.

I arrived about 40 minutes after the store opened. There was a small line of walk-in and appointment clients. As a walk in, the process was smooth. I provided my name and number and would receive a text when a CA was available. In total I waited for about 15-20 minutes. During the wait I was able to take a look at the items on display.

I was paired with a wry and jaded CA who matched my personality! He also realized this wasn’t my ‘first rodeo’ at LV. I quickly asked for either the Rosalie, Romy cardholder, or (again jokes-on-me) Nano Noir Speedy.

No surprise, no Nano. I passed on the soft trunk, speedy 20 and All-In BB. There were many Venice backpacks available as well. As for SLGs, 57th had a few notebooks, pink Rosalie, a couple of Romy, pencil cases, and Victorines.

In the end, I stuck to my original list: a Romy cardholder, plus another impulse cardholder. And no, they didn’t have the special packaging.

I’m on the waitlist for the Nano Noir. My CA said I would know in under two weeks whether any would become available. Stock for almost everything is fluid. If he was able to secure one, then it’s the usual protocol - sending me the payment link then either collect in store or have it shipped.

Last thoughts: I almost went to 57th yesterday afternoon after the disastrous and stressful experience of trying to order online. The CA said it had indeed been a madhouse yesterday and I would not have gotten anything after the initial morning rush of clients. They had a small shipment arrive prior to today’s opening. BTW, I stopped at LV at Bloomingdale’s on my way back home. Quiet as a pin. No TM inventory to speak of.

Don’t give up! If you possibly can, visit a store location. You may be surprised. I was.

Good luck! Good luck❣️
You're awesome. Thanks for sharing the phots. Hey, what about a jaded CA. I hate them to be honest. I can be jaded but they cannot. That's my opinion and my money.

I waited outside my local boutique yesterday and decided to just go home. The few items/ bags I saw in the window were just okay. The black MC really is the winner this time. I don't know why. The colors are more vibrant, and the silver hardware gives it a rock chic look.

Got it, thank you!

I’m UK based, like many, I managed to get the items I wanted in my basket but they sold out as I tried to check out. I kept getting the wheel of dread each time I tried to entire my home address. I eventually gave up and I clicked on the notification bell and within minutes received an email to confirm that one of the items I wanted was back in stock.

I was eventually able to order 2 out of the 5 items I wanted online. I ended up placing two separate orders (one for each item) via PayPal as the site wasn’t accepting my bank card.

I received order confirmation from LV for both items via email. The first order showed up both in my PayPal transaction list and as a pending payment in my bank account. However the 2nd item is only showing in PayPal. (It hasnt appeared as a pending transaction in my bank account) This is really concerning me

By the end of yesterday the first order (that was showing in both PayPal and my bank account) has now been fulfilled and has been shipped However the 2nd order is showing as ‘pending order validation’

Has anyone else had an issue with payment not showing in bank transaction list but appearing in PayPal? Was the order eventually fulfilled?
