On leather that has stains, I get the a light beige Angelus matte coat that matches the patina'd vachetta beautifully, and I hand coat the leather and use artist brushes to go around the stitching. This is a painstaking process but it makes worn, stained nasty vachetta look BRAND NEW.
I would love to see some of your restorations!! Do you have an IG?
 
Has anyone been able to purchase sunglasses? I was looking at the white mc ones but they never showed as available for me on the US site.
No, something happened with sunglasses and they didn’t come available, or did in like… single digits. I’ve seen some pairs posted from other countries but my CA, who is a miracle worker, couldn’t snag them. A second CA told me the same thing
 
I missed out on the exclusive packing but here she is, looking cute and practical. Have to say the Panda hardware is surprisingly heavier than most hardware on my other LV bags. Love it! Hope everyone had a successful launch day, and if not, my CA said more will come ;)

I can’t believe every. Single. Item. Online says “call for purchase” or “contact a client advisor” it’s like LV trolled us and didn’t even release the damn thing 🤣 items like the cspucines, all higher priced items EVERYTHING that can’t be right 😒 even though in Japan most of the items online are available or available with a waiting time for delivery so unfair

It feels like a cruel game and I was lucky in that I got some pieces in store today. I'm hoping for everyone that is still trying to get their items that the website will get sorted in the next day or two. My CA said more stock should be available in a week. Let's hope so because a lot of people missed out today because the website and app were useless.
 
Yes. I also find it interesting that the exact color placement is the same as the one that shows on the website. The pink pop of color on the inside will make it even prettier.

Someone posted a photo of a blurry/faded Romy cardholder so I was worried that the small white multicolore would be unsatisfying...but nope. It looks like an abstract field of flowers.
I was surprised to see that it looks exactly like the pictures! I really like and prefer the smaller monogram print they used on the SLGs. Just too adorable and I couldn’t resist getting them even though I definitely don’t need anymore SLGs in my collection. I love your description of it being an abstract field of flowers haha I’ll be thinking this every time I look at it now :)
 
For those of you getting stuff from IG sales people, be careful. I had reservations with a couple that showed me photos a couple days ago of the items they had supposedly in the store and said it was "stock on hand" and took my deposit since they could not ship till today. But both told me today that "they were not able to acquire" the items (aka they must have sold the on hand stock to another customer, maybe one they had a longer term relationship with). So now I have to go back to square one and try to obtain it from diff SA. THere are no promises, I guess. Sure they refunded my money so it was not a scam but I wanted the 2 items. So just to set expectations for these Instagram volume SAs....

I went to the store yesterday after work. At the store things went fairly easy. They had little in stock, yet I could order whatever I wanted. I ordered the Alma BB and also the 90cm silk scarf. I am not certain if I will keep the silk scarf, it seems very big. But well I will decide after I have it in hand at the store.

Just wanted to share my experience. I am in EU and am not a big spender at LV at all. I believe they had my old pink flip phone number in their system 🤣
 
don’t lose hope on checking the website frequently - I’m in Australia and the site went live 24 hours ago. I couldn’t decide between the Romy vs a nano speedy/PA.

At 3pm I could add both nano speedy and PA to my cart and check out but chickened out and got the Romy.

Long story short, I felt a massive pang of regret but was lucky enough to snag a white nano speedy at about 9pm due to a restock.

Just keep refreshing and hopefully you will be lucky enough to have a new shipment release while you are online!
 
Im so sorry this has been such a crazy launch. I know it is a lot of money to have tied up and I really hope you can get the items you paid for.

I'm not even sure what to say about LV because I have had orders on other collections that I personally placed in store (for which I paid and had a receipt) go all the way to "order in preparation" only to linger there for weeks (in one instance it was almost 2 months), only to have them cancel out. And then I had to go into the store, notify my CA (who didn't seem to have gotten notified by LV) and beg for a refund.
I remember going through this with the Catogram launch which was a mess for me, that is why I don’t prepay anymore. That is the part I dread , if I do t get the items trying to get the refunds back. Not an easy task!
 
DEPWO update: I waited patiently until 4 pm to ask my CA for an update after not getting any order emails or seeing any account updates. She said they were able to put orders in but still had to wait for head office to confirm availability. I have no idea what this meant (did she mean in general they could do orders or that they were able to put mine in). I was super busy and couldn’t really follow up too much either. Plus she was off today (the SM was going to handle my orders for her) and I didn’t want to bug her too much after how crazy the holidays have been for CA’s in store. I don’t have the SM’s number to ask her directly. Anyway, it’s been a few hours and my online account is finally showing a couple of items: toolbox and notebook cover. Very exciting but it still says validation pending. But it is also showing a negative purchase for a DEPWO which I’m pretty sure means a refund. So what I see is my original DEPWO (for a total of 9 items), then the negative DEPWO (full amount), then a third order with the toolbox and cover. 😬😬😬 Any hopeful interpretations or thoughts or advice? I’m holding out some hope bc the full DEPWO refund was before the order that went through, so maybe the others will appear soon too.

I don’t think I’m gonna get a straight answer over text though and might need to drop in again.

Here is my story for today - I tried online in the morning and the site wasn’t working. Rushed to nearby store at 9:50 am, joined the line and waited till 11:50 am for my turn - even though i was only 7-8th person in line. They had a reasonable collection but most items were sold out by the time my turn came. It would have been a long disappointing wait for people further down the line. I got these 3 items and so HAAPPY with my purchase!
A black bandeau, blanc belt and the Marellini bag . Did anyone else get the marellini? The packaging and attention to detail is so good. The rush & chaos is crazy though.
