While I love the collections, at the same time I kinda feel indifferent.
I have black speedy 30 that since I got it, I have rarely used + prices seem kinda wild too... š
Maybe I'll feel different after I've sold my B40 and have more "bag budget" but at this point I might just get a victorine wallet and keep the rest of my funds and put them towards another B30.

I kinda feel the same way! I feel like I should be so excited for this collection but Iām not because I know the prices will be sky high. I am having trouble justifying the prices. Maybe there will be an SLG that will call my name. But I donāt have FOMO anymore. And it could be that Iām old enough to remember the original murakami, with the original prices!
I just sold my Black Multicolore Speedy for the same reason. I just didnāt love āusingā it. It was soooo pretty to look at, but it wasnāt calling my name to carry.
Maybe the Cerise line will have something funā¦but I donāt know if the $$$$$$ will be worth it, and that makes me sad!!

Iām going to be as strategic as possible. Cherry blossom is my big focus so Iāll save the bulk of my spending for that. One speedy from multicolore collection, go a little nuts for cherry blossom, and one speedy from cerises.
But really this could change if I donāt like the designs much or if something else catches my eye.
This collection will probably blow my spending budget no matter how I divide it up š

I think people are forgetting that the Murakami collections were always expensive: when cerise came out in 2005, a regular mono speedy was $500-600 and the Cerise Speedy 25 was $995. The multicolor was always double (or triple) the price of regular monogram; if memory serves, when the Speedy 30 was discontinued a decade or so ago it was already above $3k. Given that a plain canvas speedy is now $1,550, these prices actually seem a bit *low* for recent LV inflation rates 
Of course, people can decide for themselves what is and is not "worth it" based on their own taste and situation; just providing some historical context.

Thats so true! And its exactly how I feel about mine too. I just love looking at it, so beautiful but when it comes to using it, Ill always chose something else.
I wonder about this too, I remember back in the days of covid collections sold out pretty quickly. Especially the collabs and special collections for summer, some items didn't even make it to the stores. I'm tracking the availability of limited collections for the past year and I noticed things barely sell out in a blink. The summer collections where available for months, the reboot of the denim collection same, reboot of the mirror collection, they are all quite easy to obtain. And nowadays it's even possible to do pre-orders on the website so you don't even need a SA. So I wonder how difficult it will be for this collection. I think maybe a few key items will sell out quicker but personally I don't think it will be impossible, also because the prices probably will be very steep. Now we can enjoy other things again like travelling, going out, I think people are also considering if it's worth to spent so much cash on an item instead of memories. Could be totally wrong ofcourse
if you really feel that FOMO it's best to be early or you could order it online and ship to a nearby store, they will keep the items for 30 days for you to pick it up.
i don't think the denim collection resonated with everyone they had hoped it would. plus, i agree the pricing was steep especially for a denim bag. the mirror collection is steep in pricing, but i was just speaking with my sa about it and she said that those items have been regularly moving and there is a big waitlist for products (so it is doing well).I wonder about this too, I remember back in the days of covid collections sold out pretty quickly. i don't think the entire collection would be impossible. however, i agree that key items will be in demand and sell (i.e. speedies, certain slg's) and i think the in demand products will actually sell out in preorders (i.e. like the Tyler the Creator collection) for the most part. obviously, the price for this collection will be higher, but i don't think it will be the biggest deterrent when it comes to this collection (just because it is seems like it will be limited and won't be produced any longer after this run).
