I got a text yesterday that US stores were informed that for the sakura wave no stores will receive product and it will be online only. Actually did not get a date and assumed it was 3/21 so marking the 14th is helpful. Did not know about the pop up either. Will assume NYC will also get product or will be able to order like how the MC sales were handled...

Thankfully I don’t really want anything so I’m not too fussed. I’d also heard this wave is being produced in small quantities so it would make sense they’re not going to bother trying to get it out to stores.

Thanks for sharing this intel.

I'd be so frustrated if I were a CA at a non-flagship. They really got the short end of the stick on the first drop and this could have been a way for corporate to help support their ability to make more sales this year. I mean I understand that with such a small drop there are limited options; I'm just saying I truly feel for CAs who don't work at flagships. This will mean that they were essentially iced out of Murakami altogether, despite three drops, unless the final drop is substantial and run very differently.

Sounds like maybe the online only thing is just for North America then. Wonder if Canadian customers are getting similar responses?
