I think the Murakami re-edition spoiled us - it was too good, despite some of its flaws. The bar is very high for future reboots, including this. It's not actually too bad as a whole but just doesn't meet our expectations!

I am actually quite tempted by the keepall 🤔 I like that it is not too “loud”, since it is such a big bag, and the prices sounds a bit lower than I expected. Let’s see when the prices in euros start popping up.
Only thing holding me back a bit is that I have the keepall 45 in Monogram Duné, and I can’t decide if they are too similar. And if I can even allow myself to have two of those 😅

Yes, unfortunately I think most future reboots will not come close to that scale with several drops, new bag designs etc. I think that is what I was expecting from catogram!
On the other hand, I get the impression even though LV has been relaunching many of Marc Jacobs' designs, Nicholas Ghesquière only cares about fashion weeks and his high profile clients while the design team keeps churning out the fun stuff.
I need entirely more cats in this collection on the bags. I mean, it's good for me financially, but it's not what I wanted to see!

The opinions on Murakami were pretty lukewarm (the actual execution) until everyone found out how limited a lot of it was and FOMO exploded.
UK prices are quite high - the passport cover is £455 compared to the Murakami Cherry passport cover which is £405!

I noticed that too, the SLG prices are really outrageous. Before the price increase, regular passport cover was $380ish, the MC was $475, and cerises was $555 in the US. The Catogram passport cover is $645, which is crazy to me. Same for card holder, it’s $520 in the US which is what an empreinte Rosalie now costs.
Crazy prices. With tax, passport cover would cost almost $700!!!
