2024 Wishlist

I cannot remember if I posted in the 2024 wishlist thread, but I had the same wishlist in 2023 and 2024 which was a B30 in a grey or dark green with gold hardware.

Happy that I was able to cross that off the list. Starting to think about 2025 already and what I want next. Would honestly be happy skipping a new bag for 2025 and enjoying what I have.

Would love:
- Kelly 25 (I am open to color and style)
- my SO to arrive
- Cargo B25 in noir
- Neutral mini Kelly

Well now that it's getting towards the end of the year, here's my update. My SO arrived in April this year and then I got a gold PHW mini Kelly this week. Time to update my list! Still waiting for a K25, 3 years in a row now. Funny how I have a lot of friends who got a K25 as their first offer, waiting for a mini K for years, and here I am getting a second mini K....so strange how "the game" works.

Need advice: thinking about a second H bag. Debating K28/32 vs C24. Like the idea of being able to carry more but like the unfussy access of the C. What should join my wishlist for the end of 2024 (realistically 2025)?

As someone who dislikes the Constance (UO I know), I’d vote for the Kelly. I have both a 28 and a 32 and I don’t find access that challenging…I follow @880 recommendation of doing up the sangles under the flap and then have easy access to my phone or wallet in the pockets.

Thank you for the tag. I would say that there is a big difference between the K28 and K32, but I would also try the sac Kelly elan. Short shoulder carry and holds much more than the MKII.

Appreciate the feedback! I’m definitely more of a big bag person (no MK for me) but will scope out the elan. After the B35 need something shoulder carry to mix it up.
I am also a big bag person. K28 is great because it’s a small bag for a big bag person but holds a lot. I prefer the elan to the c24 but the c24 strap is longer which I prefer.

I started my Hermes journey since late summer 2023. All of my bags were purchased from the Hermes boutiques.

Year 2023:
- completed: Herbag 39 noir/PHW (canvas x hunter leather) [purchased online]
- completed: Lindy 26 noir/GHW (clemence) (walk-in; no pre-spend)***
- completed: Birkin 30 noir/GHW (togo) (pre-spend ratio of 0.932:1)***

Year 2024:
- completed:* Birkin 30 gris pale/PHW (epsom) (leather appointment; no pre-spend)***
- completed:* Kelly Depeches 36 vert de gris/PHW (togo) (leather appointment; no pre-spend)
- completed: Kelly 42 (aka Maxi Kelly) etoupe/PHW (togo) (no pre-spend as it's a NQB in my home store)
- completed:* Kelly Messenger GM Barenia Faubourg fauve/PHW (walk-in; no pre-spend)
- completed:* Birkin 35 blue de prusse/GHW (togo) (leather appointment; no pre-spend)
- completed:* Picotin 18 noir/GHW (ostrich) (walk-in; no pre-spend)***
- completed: Kelly Messenger PM noir/PHW (evergrain) (walk-in; no pre-spend)
- completed: Birkin 35 gold/PHW (togo) (pre-spend ratio of 1.554:1**)

* denotes that I purchased these from Paris.
** my pre-spend ratio calculation is based on the total amount of pre-spend until I finally purchased the bag. (So, 1.554:1 means that I spent $15,540 if the bag costs $10,000 [before taxes].)

Year 2025:
- Pending: To pick up Kelly 25 special order placed in March 2023***

*** These are for my family members.

I am finally done with the H bags for myself (unless I eat up the words later, lol). I still need to help my family members though. I am glad that this year is finally done for me.

PS. I am also grateful for other TPFers who gave me lots of insight and advice.
