2024 Holiday Pendant

I was informed by my SA that I have been invited to receive one. She told me I have to pay in full now even without knowing what the pendant will be. This is my first year getting this invitation, as I just started my VCA journey this year. Is this the way it works every year?

I had something slightly similar happen with the recent Blue Agate release. My SA contacted me shortly before the release went public to see if I was interested in any of the pieces. I wanted the earrings and ring and had to pay up front. This allowed her to “reserve” those two items when they arrived at the boutique. I wasn’t able to choose the actual earrings and ring, which is important for a stone like Blue Agate that has color variation. In the end she allowed me to choose from two rings (via photo) and then she picked earrings that would match. (My home boutique is out of state so I couldn’t do this in person.) I could have rejected both or either piece and been refunded my money.

I wonder if your SA is asking you to pay in full now to reserve a pendant when it arrives in the boutique. I can’t tell if this is a sign that this year’s HP is extremely limited or perhaps a way to add to the hype around the necklace. At least with the Blue Agate I knew what I what I would be getting—the only question was would I like the shade of blue.

That’s how they do it on the first wave/batch, clients can reserve them before official launch date. It can play in your favor if the HP happens to be an extremely sought after color/design so you can guarantee getting one. But if you end up not liking it, they can always refund you the deposit. No biggies.

I am still waiting for the call. I was on the list for the past 3 years but barely had any purchases this year compared to the previous years only because the item I want has a waitlist 😔😔
However they do say once you regularly get a holiday pendant, you are always on that list

The design seems possibly boring but my favorite HPs are the ones you can wear without being careful. For that reason I would have been in possibly a minority preferring an interesting color in porcelain. It might not matter in past years I get a call around this time but nothing so far this year. I had a strange interaction with my SA when I declined a limited piece recently as I mentioned on another thread and I think it is possible that decline and the interaction mean I won’t get an HP this year which is ok if that is how it develops but excited to see the real design from others and learn if the rumors are correct

I declined a limited piece recently but my S.A. confirmed that the H.P is available to me. Hopefully you get an offer if you are interested.

No, but you may be be able to get an offer via the online boutique if you have purchased that way before.

Yes, you will be offered in subsequent years even if you decline ones that you do not want to purchase.

Yes, I declined before and still get offered the HP and other “limited” items

I hope some day they start doing sweet Alhambra unique pieces as holiday pendants I love the dainty sweet size. 😀
