I hate how it’s turning into an Hermes situation though, where people are just buying to make money on the resale since some resale pieces are starting to exceed the value of retail. TBH anything LE/SE will attract resellers trying to make a quick buck. Just like resellers buying up all the LE Starbucks mugs/tumblers for cherry blossoms and blackpink.
we're lucky that the Hermès effect is only focused on the pendants. the iconic pieces such as the 5-motif bracelets still remain accessible enough even to first time buyers.
personally I'm not interested in getting a holiday pendant as I find it too dainty. I just like the excitement around it, anticipating what it would be for the current year, people rejoicing being offered and getting it, people hoping to get it and eventually do, and so on.

Hey girls, as I posted earlier, some people already got the confirmation for HP 2024 from their SA. Seems to me SAs are somehow managing the HP lists in their own ways. Or, VVIPs are getting their invitations. I am not one of them

I guess this also leads to reselling.

I don't have much experience with this since I have only gotten into VCA for only a couple of years but I was offered one last year and turned it down. I do not own a lot of RG. I was told that I was on the list again this year and I let my SA know that I may be interested if it was in WG or YG. I have a lot of pendants already so it really depends if it strikes a chord with me. At least in the US and with my very limited history with VCA, not buying my first year offered did not preclude me from being offered a pendant again.
Not sure if it's true for the above but in reference, my SA said those who received the year before will usually be offered the next year.
Just take this with a pinch of salt, perhaps this is how they reference the list for the following year based on previous year's allocation.
To me it's simple, if you're offered last year and with continued purchase, you are not offered.
It doesn't make sense to me.
This is actually how my 2023 HP (P1) looks like. It’s a screenshot from a video but it’s different than the 2024 reflection (P2). Maybe this guessing game has driven me insane and I’m just being paranoid lol.
