Congrats. I didn't see that colorway of that design so I passed. I should have asked !! Overall, I think it was worth the out of town people like us to come in.

I checked back in with the scarf attendants many times trying to get another in this cw for someone else but they didn't have it - she was nice enough to check in the bags they had behind the counter. It was so frustrating that they wouldn't just put everything out! It just drove me nuts thinking that the shawl of my dreams might be hiding in those bags back there and I might unknowingly be walking away.

Another funny thing: I found out that the scarves the SAs are wearing are up for grabs - it's how I got Faune Lettree in black the first day, I ripped it from an SA's warm neck. (I kid, I kid! I minded my manners!)

Then as we're waiting in line for jewelry, I mention this to another fabulous tpfer who had looked for a particular shawl but hadn't had any luck finding it. Lo and behold, one of the jewelry SAs was wearing it! We pounced on her right away and she good-naturedly handed it over. Yes! Mission accomplished! The SA said she'd go back to get another one to keep her warm. We pore over jewelry options and when we look up, the SA is back, wearing another gorgeous shawl that one of us promptly strips from her again! We had a good chuckle over the SA's good taste in shawls and good luck in finding them back there.

I love this story...didn't know the ones they were wearing were up for grabs!

there are GM bracelets available though?? I was going to go on Wed but got lazy and stayed inside. Now, I'm thinking of going in about an hour if there's something worth getting there.

Really?! Crap crap crap! One SA was wearing a scarf that I admired...said it to her several times. She never offered it. I was there for hours trying to find something. She was even helping me try stuff on. Now I'm mad ...grr.

I came away with 3: the Beverly Hills scarf, the Voyages en Etoffes in white, and the emerald Brides de Gala maxi twilly..so still something but oh well. I was really hoping to score the Minuit au Faubourg and the Facetes de pegase but there were none left by the time I got there yesterday afternoon. I don't have the energy to go back.

Oh, I had to point blank ask her: I really love the scarf you have on. Is it for sale or is it yours?

SA: No, it's not mine. [loooooong pause]

Me: Uh, then I'd love to buy it. May I have it, please?!

After that, I scrutinized every female SA's neckwear. I even followed a few of the rare scarfless ones around, hoping they were going to go to whatever scarf nirvana they're hiding in the back and would come out wearing one of my grails that I could then abscond with! [emoji23]

Went in around 4:15PM today and stayed for about an hour. Headed to jewelry first as many suggested and got 3 bracelets:
1" H Clic Clac in Mango / silver hardware
Micro Rivale
Baby Pavane Veau Tadelakt

Definitely sensing a warm tone theme in my bracelet collection now:

Unfortunately didn't find anything else I was really in love with, but am super happy with my haul!

FYI for those planning to go tomorrow - they're running low on leather bracelets but there were plenty of clic clac when I left around 5:30PM (only in select colors though - also not all the mango 1" are the same! I picked a lighter toned one, but there were deeper hues too. 0.5" looked relatively similar.) and they said they won't be restocking jewelry. Plenty of shoes still - H sandals are mostly in 39.0 and up size-wise, but plenty of cute flats and loafers in smaller sizes. Would suggest lining up early, as I heard lots of chatter about folks coming back.
