2017 SF H Sale

The sign said no strollers and no children under 12. Despite that, there were a few moms with their infants strapped into their chests and a few (ostensible) grandmothers carrying infants.

Luckily I didn't even try, and thank you so much for the heads up
I think it is considerate for them to have such rule because kids may get lost easily in such crowd
I'm dreaming that MAYBE hubbie won't be busy at work on Friday so he can watch the kids

My treasures...lots of silks were at the sale, though I was really good to remain on my 90 ban. Nabbed a few 70s and one fabulous silk GM that I have had my heart set on since it was issued last fall. Of course could not resist red shoes. Very happy with my loot.

I laughed because I was in the same boat this morning. I got there at 9:45 and got admitted just shortly before noon. I finally got a taste of those that stood in line at FSH !! Kudos to them. By the time I got in I was already hungry so I was eager to shop and leave. I ended up staying an hour. Any longer I probably would have an accident or kidney failure.

I felt like most of the really good stuff was gone by the time I got in. There were hardly any csgms, which I really wanted but oh well. I'm happy with my Granville bracelet (I think that's what it's called). There was still a nice selection of bracelets but I discovered my wrist is between a medium and small. So sizing for any of the leather bracelets was tough. I am not well versed in all the bracelet styles so I'm afraid I can't name them for you...

I don't know if I'll head back tomorrow. This was an all day endeavor and while I love the items I got, three of the four were at the BH sale last year.

The jewelry line was so long that I didn't even bother. Congrats and since you flew in for the sale you should go back tomorrow. They will bring out more CSGMs.

Did they asked for ID for VIP?

Yes the lady from corporate was checking IDs but the lady behind me has no ID and no credit card. She was quick in thinking and showed them her iPhone and I guess it has her email address which matches the one on the list. I don't know how she settled her bill but saw something in her shopping bag.

I used up my quota and got four 90s, two pochettes and three CSGMs (thanks to generosity of other TPFers who has spare ones). I see a lot of orange bracelets and silks but I'm sure that they will bring different designs tomorrow. May work better going later as the line would be shorter.

I walked out with Etain jumping boots; one pareo (there were some great one piece swimsuits too); one 90 scarf; a pair of Louise leather gloves. Found a to die for horn necklace but alas couldn't justify the even sale price. Want to go back for the Joueuse boots and maybe revisit some other jumping boots in other colors. I went around 4:00pm and got in after a 20 min wait in line. They actively were restocking the floor and some of the SAs even helped to pull more shoes from the back room - so if you don't see it, it doesn't mean it's not there- just ask! Was told at 6:00pm today that they will do a full replenishment of stock on Friday if anyone is heading there on that day. Which reminds me, I better move my meetings... ;D

I was in the first group to enter the sale today. I found a couple of pairs of shoes (Lorena bootie and Molly sandal), a couple of clics, a micro rivale, a Malachite Kelly dog (been on the hunt for one since I bought my malachite B a couple of years back), a cashmere/wool and leather trimmed losange scarf. DH got a pair of sneakers and a cashmere jacket. Very happy! Will post pics on my insta sometime this weekend.

I only manage to take only these few pictures. Was too busy browsing and didn't have time to do pictures.

As for the cashmere I remember I saw only the cheval du marwari in blue, fleurs papillon in red, blue and green, new libris in pink and blue, and many of the brazil cashmere with fringe. I did not see any twilly on sale. Lots of enamel. I recall seeing the Beverly Hills 90 silk in blue/orange. There are many round enamel scarf rings.

Also saw many clic H and clic clac in PHW. There was XL lagoon with white H enamel, some really bright red with PHW, mangue with white H and many more. Sorry for the blurry pics.

I am embarrass to say I only score 1 and only one item which is the Java bracelet in noir with PHW.

Here's mine! I was fairly rational and only bought things I know I really will use. I am regretting not getting this one 90cm scarf but overall I'm pretty happy. Yay!

Not sure what happened to my earlier post but I took some really blurry pics of the silk section and also the clic H/Clic clac.

Ended up with 3 90s, one csgm and a cute behapi capuchine double tour, phw. It was very fun! The sales staff were helpful and patient and the other shoppers were respectful and polite. It did get crowded in there with many people and the large paper shopping bags they gave us, but fortunately there were no brawls over the treasured merchandise. I was in at 10:30 and out at 12:25. It was a nice experience. Fun to see so many tPF friends there.

Lanit - fabulous scores for you! I would have licked floors for that Tigre Royale - I didn't see any others. The scarf situation was so odd - several times when I walked by, they were putting out different patterns, causing another mini-rush. The ladies who manned the scarf counter were very nice, extremely patient and really did try to be helpful, but they didn't know much about the scarves so they were struggling to keep up with the myriad questions that came their way. Love those red shoes, too!! Glad you got such lovelies!
