Day 6: Massaccesi midi Soulmate. This beauty is seeing a lot of playtime. I'd love to get another one in a bright color, but Marco doesn't have colors now for this kind of leather. I want fuchsia pink! Or sunshine yellow!

Is that grey? I think I want a grey bag too. That's so pretty.

I thought I needed to sell this, but found it can easily carry flash drives. :) so glad it didn't sell now.

Yes Bake, that bag is light grey. Thanks! My next would likely be a dark grey. Though I want colors now like fuchsia and yellow!! These are year round colors where I live. :smile1:

I also have small zip cases that I don't know what to use for. I'm glad you found ways to use yours. These small pouches still add to the weight of the bag. I'm really into lighter bags these days too. (Just an aside. An older sister of mine also asked me just the other day if I have any crossbody bag I am selling that is lightweight. She will be going on a trip and she is looking for a light bag as she gets back aches too.)

this is so cute!!!

Thanks!

This leather looks very plush. Hope you get your bright colors soon!

Adorable! Glad you did not sell it too!

Thanks! I feel like I really need to evaluate the use of stuff first before I try selling again.

They do add weight to a bag, but I typically don't carry this pouch a lot. Only when I need to bring my LC document holder/briefcase because I'll need to carry electronic and hard copies to work from home. So I don't have it all the time, but it's ready to go when needed. :)

I tried to Project 333 at the beginning of summer, and it was helpful. I did not do it perfectly, I gave myself some flex with it -- and I bought a few pairs of shorts over the summer. But it was good. I like the idea. Recently I cleaned out my jewelry drawers and got rid of the things I don't wear. But they are still over-full and I need to go through with a second swipe. None of my things are very expensive.

For Christmas our family has a book exchange this year, and one of the books I bought to trade (and I hope I get it back, LOL) is called the Life Changing Art of Tidying Up. The author is cute and there is a video of her on Youtube and she says that any item that does not inspire joy should be eliminated. That's interesting.

I want to post a photo of my favorite ever handbag, it is a Fossil that is now ripped at the edges. Right now I am looking at Hermes canvas bags, maybe like this, on Ebay. What do you think?

They look kind of fun and different. And I am Ms. Casual most of the time. I usually have a shoulder strap so this would be very different. Not sure though. Maybe I'll start another thread somewhere where forum members can help me pick something nice.

Those bags are very well made, and I'm sure you'd find one in better condition. Uniqlo also has this style if you're wanting one really quick and affordable.

I second the recommendation of Longchamp. $200 or less can go quite a bit with Longchamp.

It is a casual bag but if I were only going to have one bag it would not be hand carry only. That would get uncomfortable real quick specially in a heavy canvas bag.. I would go for another shoulder bag or something that has a removable long strap if it is hand carry.

I thought I would get my green Gigi NY crossbody bag before Christmas. But USPS 1-Day Priority Mail Express failed me! The bag had been with my sister in MO since early December. Then, we learned that the husband of a friend in CA can bring it here if his trip on December 19 would push through. He still needed to see a doctor on December 15 for clearance to travel. So on the night of December 15 I got confirmation that the trip was a go. My sister then scheduled a pick up by the USPS for overnight mail. By December 17, the date of the "Scheduled Delivery", the package was still in transit. Last update was still showing MO. The tracking just updated on December 20. It has arrived in CA, but not yet at the destination city. I am really so disappointed!! The husband has arrived here, but my bag is still traveling. Don't know yet how I'll get the bag in here, likely through a forwarder. I hope my sister gets refunded, it was almost $30 for a small package! Does the USPS money back guarantee work? I hope so.

Btw, off topic, our country is celebrating the win of our beauty queen. :smile1:

Forgot about that, but I think the Hermes tote can be carried shoulder without a jacket. I think there's a slightly longer handle version. But that's if you get that version.

If one only has a single bag, shoulder carry is a must for many of us here.

Forgot to add a photo yesterday. Here is my Lv totally mm in de.
Gorgeous! lol, looks like your kitty either posed for this photo or it got woken up from a nap.

Bummer about not getting the bag in time! And yes, I'd bring that up to USPS and get the $30 back, typically the priority express has a guarantee. That's why you pay so much for it.

Glad the Philippines won, but that was sooo awkward when he crowned the wrong person!
