2013: I honestly had absolutely no plans but...:p

- Asscher diamond stud earrings 1cttw (*my new loves :girlsigh:) - we had some minor size concerns (too big/too small) but it turns out half a carat per ear is actually the perfect size for me :D
- Tahitian pearl and diamond WG drop earrings - a bit of an impulse but I had actually seen them ages ago at my jeweller and he offered me an incredible price for them :woohoo:

I don't really have further bling plans for this year, the Asscher diamond studs are absolutely breathtaking and so I'm feeling wonderfully content for the moment :smile1:

Does anyone have any good tips for selfie earring modelling shots?! Because I spent an embarrassing amount of time in the bathroom yesterday trying to get a good pic :nogood: They're all blurry or way too small :rolleyes:

I'll try and get some good pics of just the earrings today and post but I will keep working on the modelling pics because I agree, it's great to have an idea of how a particular carat size in a particular shape/cut looks on your actual ear.

For reference, the half carat studs are about 4.5mm square plus setting - not huge and not tiny - I've gotten so many compliments on them :love: I was worried that too big would look a bit fake at my age but didn't want them to be teeny starter-studs KWIM? DF did so good :D

they sound amazing. I have no tips, I just keep pointing and shooting till theres a decent shot lol

can't wait to see them!
