I've seen so many amazing pieces on the forum this year, so I thought it'd be fun to start a thread for a fabulous looking-back and sharing our sparkly wishes for the new year

What fun!

I concentrated on earrings in 2012.

Bought:

8mm Tahitian studs
Rose gold Jenny Kim poppy studs
18k granulated ball studs
10mm sterling ball studs

2013 wish list:
18k bespoke bangle (quoted at 2k by local jeweler)
Sepkus orchard ring (5-6k, depending on stone selection)

- Burberry "The Britain" watch - black/steel bracelet/38mm

I bought and was gifted some bangles (both yg and jade ones). Also bought 2 diamond necklaces.

Think i'll take a little break in 2013 (not so confident abt this though, lol). Maybe just something small for my birthday middle of the year. Still cannot decide if i want a dbty but if i do decide to have one perhaps will ask DH for one for my birthday.

This year I want my first Tiffany piece, hopefully a bangle.

I also want a bespoke ring made up at some point, yellow gold to match my wedding set, with alternating garnets and citrines (my kid's birthstones).

Bought my first pandora bracelet this year and got a nice pair of diamond stud earrings from BF. I think all other jewelry was cheaper stuff or something I made.

For 2013, I want to get a DBTY necklace and am going to try to limit my purchases to a few larger more expensive, higher quality pieces than a bunch of cheaper ones.

2013 will likely be a Cartier love bangle year, and a J12 year for me !

2012 was a bust, too many bags and shoes !

2012:
1/2 ct diamond stud earrings & 1/4 ct diamond solitaire necklace from the hubby for my b-day
My first Pandora bracelet from my Mother for Christmas
My first Tiffany jewelry was bought this year & my collection now includes - mini heart bead bracelet, 10 mm bead earrings, mini heart tag earrings, narrow 1837 ring, .05 ct DBTY bracelet.

And last but not least, my new wedding band upgrade which I am anxiously waiting on to be sized, a 1 ct TDW 7 stone band.

2013: I am content for now, but maybe a few more smaller Tiffany ss items.
