2010 Sang, vs 09 Poupre & 08 Ruby

Can i ask if poupre is close to bordeaux? I tend to see different tones of poupre and I am rather confused :wondering, which pic in PF is the closest? Thanks!

^^ Pourpre is not close to Bordeaux IMO. Its much lighter.

Here is the '10 Sang Coin and '09 Pourpe Pencil

I have the exact combination of Sang (CP) and Pourpre (Pencil) as you! Can I ask, i noted that the Sang is much more distressed and soft than Pourpre is. The pourpre's surface is much smoother and the wrinkles are much more fine.

is yours the same?

Sure - I'll post a pic in RM...I wondered the same thing before I got Poupre.
It's pretty close - That's one reason I sold the Wine Mattie (...still have my MAM though!)

^I have my MAM too! I have been wanting a wine like city for over 2 years, but the other Bal reds weren't deep enough or too deep. Poupre is perfect!

Does anyone find the Pourpre to be more pinkish- red or purpleshish-red?

Pourpre looks to my eye more like a purplish tone than the Sang, which is more of a true - albeit subdued, red.

The Pourpre I have seen is definitely not as saturated as my Ruby, nor is it as clear a red as the Ruby.
