I think you are absolutely right. These colours are all gorgeous individually but not together on one bag. While the colours of the woven bags fit beautifully together these just does not. And then the zigzag stitching :nono:

It's such a shame, because if they'd used the same gorgeous summer colours, it would've looked pretty, summery and exquisite. I think that mandarine, blue layette, maldives, white, marine, with an injection of apple green would've been breathtaking  I think it's a good idea, but badly executed.

I don't actually know why but I really "hate" this bag, it's funny because normally I LOVE everthing from balenciaga clothes, shoes, all bags and jewellery but this one just reminds me of cheap bags from the 80s,

Why does every handbag maker feel the need to do "patchwork"?

IMO, the only successful "patch" bags I've seen are Miu Miu Harlequin & patchwork bags...everyone else's are kind of Fugs. :balloon::balloon::balloon:

It's not for me either. I don't like the pebbled type of leather they have used for the corners/handles and the base does look odd with the green. The most interesting thing I find is trying to figure out what the colours might be!

Yup, I have to agree, it's not my cup of tea. If I wanted a patchwork bag, I would spend $100 on a Lucky Brand bag.

it's funny because in a similar thread they found the lucky patchwork bag that looks like this one:

it's too bad because i really like the style and i like the idea of having all the different colors in one bag. but the actual bag looks like something you would get at a fleamarket. in the 80s.
