2 Guccis or 1 Chanel flap?

I would buy a Chanel flap without even thinking, however if I had to choose 2 Gucci bags I would pick a small GG Marmont in white leather (which is my favorite Gucci bag) and probably a Dionysus in small size, however I'm not sure about material or colour.
I already have plenty of both brands and all I can say is the only difference is the price.
I'd rather have one higher price range and exclusive Gucci rather than normal Chanel flap or 2 more commercial Guccis. Lower price point bags subsidise the higher.

Interesting. Now I have few Guccis, LVs and Fendi and thinking all the time I could have rather invested in Chanel bags but maybe it’s just because of the hype. Also I made a mistake last year with not so cheap Fendi losing its shape already. I like commercial Guccis, I don’t even dare to think about exclusive for now

Fendi Dotcom Click medium. Corners started to sag, I’m afraid it’s only going to get worse. They even discontinued it recently. I love the bag and wear it very often so I’m so sorry about it.
I understand perfectly. I get so frustrated when my bags lose shape or get scratched. That's why I recommend getting a Chanel flap, especially in caviar, however I'm not an expert of Gucci bags to say how durable they are. However, even if Gucci bags are as durable as Chanel, I would still advise getting Chanel, as they have more classic designs which you are not going to get bored of if you choose the right color and hardware for you. There was a time when I thought that the classic flap was overrated but the minute I saw it at the Chanel boutique for the first time I realized why everybody's in love with it. Anyway, good luck with your next purchase!
Thank you! I didn’t have any problem with my Guccis yet, they are pretty new. Last time I looked bags in caviar at the Chanel, they looked somehow dull but I read not all the batches are the same. Looking forward to find my beautiful Chanel flap once

Talking about bag I like very much but wonder what will I think about it in a year, not to mention matching it with clothes... Chanel flap wins in those categories certainly...
I voted for Chanel, but really I'd advise getting the 1 bag you love the most right now (and is affordable/worth it to you). Just because you have x amount to spend, doesn't mean you have to spend it all right now. Buy 1 bag, enjoy it for awhile, then worry about the next one!

I get pretty scared every time I hear about price increase. I see Chanel turning into Hermès....Thanks, those are very strong arguments!
