2 Bags, a Hollywood Story and a Question

I am going to be twins tomorrow on the gunmetal bag. I have been waiting on it to be on FOS forever and finally! I used to have the e/w, but decided to sell after awhile. I loved the color, but wanted the crossbody. I hope I love it too

BTW, I always thought seeing filming done was cool. They filmed a ton of stuff at my high school, including a lot of Beverly Hills 90210 shots.

Glad your filming experience was good. We've had 2 in our subdivision.....one great and the other not so great. The great one was MTV filming Teen Wolf over multiple seasons. Since they were a professional crew they didn't block the street and happily replaced sprinkler heads, bushes, etc. if their big trucks caused damage. The neighbor whose house was used, in addition to being paid a nice amount, got all the hardwood floors on the main level redone (sanded and stained) in addition to new interior paint.

The not so great experience was a rap video. I swear! It was Easter weekend (of all times) and tons of cars/trucks lined the street with scantly clad women parading around everywhere. We had company coming for Easter dinner and the day before I was running back and forth to the grocery store so it was horrible. They unofficially closed the entrance to the subdivision for 30 minutes restricting people from entering and leaving so it was not a good scene.

Wow, your story about the video is crazy!! I can only imagine. There was a couple of times they blocked traffic. They did this exterior shoot with a large crane that sprawled across the width of the street and the entire crew was my front yard for it!

A set tour i am jelly for sure! I love that kind of stuff.

Yes it has been interesting, nothing exciting ever happens here it is so quiet

Love the new bags, love your movie story! I am in NC too!! I would have just sat in front of the window with some snacks everyday and watched all that, plus I am a huge Lauren Graham fan so wow how amazing!!

A couple of times I sat out front with neighbors in the evening with a bottle of wine

So cool about the movie set!! Several movies have been filmed in the area I live in, but nothing as close as you!! I love Lauren Graham too! Thanks for sharing.

Yeah they are filming a lot in the NC area. This movie also filmed at the Whitewater Center and in Boone. Homeland as you probably know is filmed here and Sleepy Hollow. The location coordinator told me they are hoping the city approves turning an old mall into a film studio and film school as people in the industry are really pulling for it.

I used to love him in Wings, that show from the 90's about the two brother on Nantucket with the small plane. He was the kooky mechanic, Lowell.

Not only do I love the bags, I love your house! How fun with the filming on your street and your own house! Interesting about the dogs, I guess they need backups lol! Love that key charm, I remember it when it came out!

Thank you both! I was trying to get dog training tips for my out of control miniature Dachshund, LOL. The Max dogs were very loveable in addition to being well trained. They only downside is that they would get lots of dog hair on my clothes, they liked to snuggle up against you...so cute

I usually don't buy compartment bags but I was really haunted by this one and have gotten lots of compliments on it. Hope you are able to get yours!

About the movie... SIGNS , I think the name was. How cool that was filmed by your place. "Swing for the fence" was the quote I remember from that one. I have watched all M. Night Shyamalan movies. The Village was my favorite of his movies.

That Sophia was around forever, figures now that I have to have it is nowhere to be found. Of all the bags they could have taken that I could easily replace or would not care much about....grrr!! Thank you for checking out my thread

I think you will love the gunmetal tote. So glad it was on FOS. That is funny about 90210, my ex-husband used to love that show!

I am loving this bag much more than I thought I would! Color is amazing. I did not get to meet THC. I am sure if I asked I could have. I would have liked to but they always seemed so busy. And they were probably miserable in this hot humid weather. We are waiting to hear if they are coming back for re-shoots. Should know by end of week, if they do I might ask to meet him then
