1955 Horsebit tote...did they fix the GG canvas Frida disaster or are we being duped again??

NO, completely different material Obviously, it's not going to be as hardy as coated canvas and choose fabrics wisely that it will rub against, but it won't be prone to rubbing/ fraying in the same way as the original sig fabric woven fabric..

In the 1980s there was sometimes a problem with runs to the Flora pattern and dye as people decided to wash the canvas with soap & water. If this is a newer one the dye is fast.

Phew! Thank you for letting me know I know the white background will be prone to color transfer if i am not careful, but the fraying bit was worrisome .....i am at ease now, thank u

I just received the version without a chain in the mail. It is, indeed, I coated canvas. Back to Farfetch it will go!
