This is Ohio, so Coach, Dooney, and Vera Bradley are the most often seen bags. I rarely see real designer bags. Lots of fake LV.

People around here have no idea who Chloe is or why I would want to carry one of her bags.

Kathy Van Zeeland - very cute bags in the under $200 range, but most of them are too 'blingy' for my taste. I think she is based in NYC but the actual bags are made elsewhere (China probably, I don't have one to be able to check the label) - her husband is also a bag designer (B Makowsky) and his are somewhat more expensive (Coach level) and more understated.
