I don't know whether this is available in a scarf size, KG. Mine is the exact same size as the GM shawl.

The weave is different from the regular GM shawls, and the texture is so fine that it folds smaller than the GM cashmere/silk shawls. I can just fit the regular-weave GM cashmere/silk shawls into a Karo GM, but this one will fit into the small Karo.

ETA: I just re-read my earlier post. I see where I wrote that it was much smaller. I meant to write much LIGHTER. Sorry!

This is sounding more appealing all the time.
G - our climate as you mentioned makes it difficult to wear my cashmere shawls. It is hardly ever REALLY cold here.
I love the shawl in the pic - just might have to check on that.
You and KG make this one hard to resist:graucho:!

I've seen 2 colorways in this beauty, PennyD, and from what I've seen of your pictures, you'd be magnificent in the lighter version of this.

Of course, I might be biased since I would have probably preferred the lighter version myself!

do you happen to know if it comes in any other colors? if it came in a greyscale, i would SWOON.

i went to the hermes at SCP today, and they said it was a N?Y exclusive? it makes sense, but yeah.

anyways, thank you sooo much for showing us the pics! i havent fallen in love with a scarf that badly, since well...ever.

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question but if I were you I'd call Madison and ask about it.... If you love it that much you should seek it out!!:tup:

As far as I know there are only two colorways in this scarf. They are both on Hermes.com USA site right now. I have the darker/bluer colorway and I would say that the Hermes site pic is pretty true to life.

Vivek: I checked with my SA... here's the info:

Scarf: $2,150, oblong shape, the side with the orange and brown H pattern is 65% cash/35% silk, the solid brown side is 100% Agneau bouclé. It's called the South Pole scarf.

Wallet: MC2 Copernic Card Case in Miel Alligator $2,675

Vision II Diary Cover: Miel Alligator $2,900

She says that the wallet and Vision II both say Miel but they look like two different colors.
