These are great photos, especially the comparison shots. They really should be put in the Reference section - SO valuable. Thank you for these!!!

I saw a chartreuse Evelyne when I was in NYC - too bad the wide canvas strap looks horrible on me...

I am so woefully behind on tpf due to a technical malfunction. . . . . . these pics are so fabulous - I really love seeing the comparison pics - particularly on the mannequin! Thank you as always, KG for sharing these great photos!

Yummy pictures KG~ Thank you so much and your SA is wonderful!! This reminds me to take out my Evelyn and pull out my turtle necks for the weekend!! (LA is finally cooling down!! yeah~) :graucho:

I'm curious, what accounts for the difference in shape of the leather tab at the end of the shoulder strap? On the first one, the sides of the tab are straight and only the end is curved. On the second, the whole tab is kind of rounded, like a petal or an omega shape. Is it the regular vs. the "2" style? Or the size? Or the whim of the craftsman?

My guess is that the tab is different because the straps are different. The curry one has a stripe in it and looks narrower to me than the ones that are "plain".

Even if the straps are the same width (hard to tell from the pics), I think the way they designed the end tabs looks just right for the style of each of the straps.

Oh! I think you're right! I didn't even think of that. Thanks! :smile1:
