Good luck, let us know if you get a response.

Thanks for the email address. So, she said she would replace my bag, however I had to CUT up my old one. Which, of course, I made a video of... it's not every day I get to cut up a designer bag!

However, after cutting it up I emailed her and forgot to attach pictures, and re-sent with pictures at 5:56pm. I think she must've finished at 6pm on weekdays, and not work weekends as she hasn't replied.

In her previous email, she said "upon reception of the pictures we will ship the bag and it will reach you within 10 days". So, as probably won't see the pictures until Monday, the bag could take until the 25th to arrive :'(

I leave home on the 23rd, and the country on the 24th. It's been over a year and they're still offering me a replacement so I don't want to be rude and be like "hey, can you send using a faster service please" (especially as it's free).

Does anybody know which delivery service they use? I don't know any UK courier who ship in 10 days, most are 5 working days max, which would get it here before I leave (if they ship it Monday)

I'm really pleased to hear that they're going to replace your bag that's great news  I'm pretty sure that they used FedEx when I dealt with them. Is there anyone at home who could take receipt if you're not there? I would send them another email giving them the date you're leaving and ask if there's anything they can kindly do to ensure you receive the replacement in time. Send it over the weekend and they'll have it first thing Monday.

Yeah, I live with my parents and am spending a few months with my boyfriend at his apartment (so excited!), so the worst case scenario is having to have them send it or just waiting until I get back. :p

The colour choices I had were:
OPTIC WHITE
DARK DUNE
DK KHAKI
PEANUT
LUGGAGE
HERITGE BLUE
PALE BLUE
WATERMELON
RED
BLUSH
BLOSSOM
FUCHSIA
PALE PINK
SUN
SUNTAN
MANDARIN

I was split between a few however chose "SUN" (yellow) as I love the way the black trim looks!

Is it weird I want to keep the cut up selma on display?

Wow that's quite a choice of colours! Sun yellow is a happy colour, looking forward to seeing some pictures. That's great if your parents can send it on, be good to have it before you go if it works out that way.

I couldn't bring myself to cut up my faulty bag, got the courier to take it back with him! It's certainly not every day you get to destroy a designer bag.

They let you do that, just say you'd send it back with the courier? Although I wouldn't do it, out of respect for them giving me an exchange (especially after reading some bad reviews on MK customer service), It did cross my mind to try and keep both bags, I admit. :blushing: :blushing:

Haha, that would have been good wouldn't it! Yes the courier dropped off my gift voucher and collected the defective bag. It was all prearranged. It would be better if you could ring and speak to them but fair play, they're great about replacing faulty products.

I cannot believe they made you cut it up and send pictures?? That is very horrifying and what a waste....They should at least just have you send it back, so they can repair it for you, or repair and it sell it themselves to a liquidator.....

I couldn't believe it either, it could've EASILY been fixed if they'd ask me to send it back, but I'm not complaining.. I get a new bag (and an 'antique' for my apartment)! :D :roflmfao:

"I have confirmed your order and the new bag will be with you within ten days.

DHL may contact you on the phone for delivery."

I leave the country (for 3 months!) in 8 days, think it will arrive by then?

Wow that vid made me slightly cringe lol. I can't believe they told you to cut it up and not send it back. Interesting lol
