I made a video of my review a year later, although my bag broke I have mostly compliments!

(PurseForum won't let me embed YouTube videos!)

I also did a "what fits" video to show people it fit's more than expected...

ALSO... Although I bought the bag from Macy's in the US, if I take it to an MK store in the UK, will they be able to fix the bag?! Thank you so much and hope my review helps you :)

Oh no. sorry to hear that. That's what I'm worried about with my medium Selma messenger. If you take it to MK they might be able to fix it, but what about a leather repair shop? They might be able to fix it too if MK can't.. Just as a last resort.

broke because of using it everyday in the past year or how?! :confused1:

I actually use it about one day a week on average, I don't keep anything heavy in it either so I really don't know why it broke. Although I don't baby my bags, I definitely am not so aggressive anything should break! I was in Paris when it broke, which was kinda embarrassing but luckily my boyfriend (who bought me the bag) was there!!

I'm going to go to the store next week and ask, I'll get back to you!

I buy and sell many MK bags and have noticed that their straps seem to be an issue, quite awhile ago, actually. Many used listings I look at , are listings of bags with broken straps. MK needs to get on the ball in this area. It seems to be one of their worst problems with the longevity of their bags holding up.

Sorry to hear that... But frankly speaking if the bag can only last for a year that i paid in full price, it doesn't seem like worth the money as i'd expect the bag can last for years! Hope u can get it fixed or just get yourself a new one haha :D

Do you think medium selma messenger may also has the risk being broke like that? I just bought the bag last week now this concerns me too :(

I would email MK Europe customer services with photos and proof of purchase. I was in a similar situation to you and they helped me out.

Where are they breaking on the straps?

I love my Minis - I have 2! That totally stinks about the strap holder breaking. Argggh! That should not happen! It's a light bag so you can only put so much in it so weight shouldn't be an issue. Let us know if you're able to get it fixed. Btw - I enjoyed your vids! :)

Do you know the email address? The contact form on the website only has the country options of US or Canada, and they don't seem to reply to questions/enquiries on FB/Twitter
